ਦੇ ਨਾਂਮ ਦੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ, ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਂਮ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਦੋਵੋ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰਾ ਜਨਮ ਸਫ਼ਲਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
Give me the Lord as my wedding gown, and the Lord as my glory, to accomplish my works.

हरि भगती काजु सुहेला गुरि सतिगुरि दानु दिवाइआ ॥

ਹਰਿ

ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਪਿਆਰ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਸੱਚੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਬੱਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
Through devotional worship to the Lord, this ceremony is made blissful and beautiful; the Guru, the True Guru, has given this gift.

वरभंडि हरि सोभा होई इहु दानु न रलै रलाइआ ॥

ਸਾਰੇ

ਪਾਸੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਂਮ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾਂ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਵਰਦਾਨ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀ ਮਿਲਦਾ।
Across the continents, and throughout the Universe, the Lord's Glory is pervading. This gift is not diminished by being diffused among all.

ਹੋਰਿ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਦਾਜੁ ਜਿ ਰਖਿ ਦਿਖਾਲਹਿ ਸੁ ਕੂੜੁ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੁ ਕਚੁ ਪਾਜੋ ॥

मनमुख दाजु जि रखि दिखालहि सु कूड़ु अहंकारु कचु पाजो ॥

ਮਨ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੰਮਾਈ ਧੰਨ ਇੱਕਠਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਬੇ ਲੋੜਾ ਨਾਂ ਕੰਮ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
Any other dowry, which the self-willed manmukhs offer for show, is only false egotism and a worthless display.

जुगह जुगो जुग जुगह जुगो सद पीड़ी गुरू चलंदी ॥

ਰਾਮ

ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਦੀ ਕਈ ਸਦੀਆਂ, ਯੁਗੋ ਤੋਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਬਣੀ ਹੈ। ਉਦੋਂ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਸਦਾ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੈ।
In age after age, through all the ages, forever and ever, those who belong to the Guru's Family shall prosper and increase.

ਤੋਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਦੀ ਕਈ ਸਦੀਆ ਯੁਗੋ ਤੋਂ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਬਣੀ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜੋ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੈ।
Age after age, the Family of the True Guru shall increase. As Gurmukh, they meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord.

ਹਰਿ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਕਬ ਹੀ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਜਾਵੈ ਨਿਤ ਦੇਵੈ ਚੜੈ ਸਵਾਇਆ ॥

पुरखु न कब ही बिनसै जावै नित देवै चड़ै सवाइआ ॥

ਪ੍ਰਭੂ

ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਕਦੇ ਮਰਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਨਹੀ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਹੋਰ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਧਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Almighty Lord never dies or goes away. Whatever He gives, keeps on increasing.

संगि

सहाई हरि नामु धिआई बिरथा कोइ न जाए ॥

ਰਾਮ

ਨਾਂਮ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਆਸਰਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਖਾਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ।
The Name of the Lord shall be with you as your Helper and Support. Meditate on Him-no one who does so shall ever return empty-handed.

चिंदे सेई फल पावहि चरण कमल चितु लाए ॥

ਮਨ

ਮੰਗਿਆ ਉਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੀਅ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ।
You shall obtain the fruits of your mind's desires, by focusing your consciousness on the Lord's Lotus Feet.

थलि पूरि रहिआ बनवारी घटि घटि नदरि निहाले ॥

ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਲ਼ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਆਪਣੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਜਰੇ ਜਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
He is totally pervading the water and the land; He is the Lord of the World-forest. Behold Him in exaltation in each and every heart.

ਸੋਹਣੇ ਸੱਜਣਾਂ ਜੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਹੈ। ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁੱਖ ਮਰਨ ਪਿਛੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਸਗੋਂ ਇਨਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਹੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਸਹਿਣੇ ਪੈਣੇ ਹਨ।

ਚਰਣ ਕਮਲ ਕਰਿ ਬੋਹਿਥੁ ਕਰਤੇ ਸਹਸਾ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਬਿਆਪੈ ॥

कमल करि बोहिथु करते सहसा दूखु न बिआपै ॥

ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਰੱਸਤਾ ਬਣਾ ਭੋਰਾ ਵੀ ਦੁੱਖ ਰੋਗ ਯਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ।
Let the Lord's Lotus Feet be your Boat, so that pain and skepticism shall not touch you.

पूरा भेटै वडभागी आठ पहर प्रभु जापै ॥

Meeting with the Perfect Guru, by great good fortune, meditate on God twenty-four hours a day.

जुगादी सेवक सुआमी भगता नामु अधारे ॥

ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਪਿਤਾ ਰਾਖਾ ਹੈ। ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਂਮ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
From the very beginning, and throughout the ages, He is the Lord and Master of His servants. His Name is the Support of His devotees.

दरु सेवे अलख अभेवे निहचलु आसणु पाइआ ॥

ਰੱਬ

ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਂਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਯਾਦ ਕਰੀ ਚੱਲਣ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਬ ਕੋਲ ਪੱਕੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
One who serves at the Door of the Imperceptible and Unfathomable Lord, obtains this eternal position.

जनम न मरणु न आवण जाणा संसा दूखु मिटाइआ ॥

ਮਰਨ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਾਸੀ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
There is no birth or death there, no coming or going; anguish and anxiety are ended.

ਦਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਸਭ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਜਮ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਪੇਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੱਲਦੀ।
The accounts of Chitr and Gupt, the recording scribes of the conscious and the subconscious are torn up, and the Messenger of Death cannot do anything.

पिआरिआ जीउ मित्रा करि संता संगि निवासो ॥

ਸੋਹਣੇ ਸੱਜਣ ਜੀ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨਾਂਮ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਯਾਦ ਕਰੀ ਚੱਲ, ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਰਹਾ ਕਰ।
O dear beloved mind, my friend, abide in the Society of the Saints.

पिआरिआ जीउ मित्रा हरि नामु जपत परगासो ॥

ਸੋਹਣੇ ਸੱਜਣ ਜੀ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨਾਂਮ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਯਾਦ ਕਰੀ ਚੱਲਣ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਬ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
O dear beloved mind, my friend, chanting the Lord's Name, the Divine Light shines within.

ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸੁਖਹ ਗਾਮੀ ਇਛ ਸਗਲੀ ਪੁੰਨੀਆ ॥

Simar Suaamee Sukheh Gaamee Eishh Sagalee Punneeaa ||

सिमरि

सुआमी सुखह गामी इछ सगली पुंनीआ ॥

ਰੱਬ

ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨਾਂਮ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਯਾਦ ਕਰੀ ਚੱਲਣ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਰਾਦਾ ਮਿਲਦੀਆ ਹਨ।
Remember your Lord and Master, who is easily obtained, and all desires shall be fulfilled.
