मिलि

सतिगुर सभु दुखु गइआ हरि सुखु वसिआ मनि आइ ॥

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ

ਨਾਲ ਰੱਲ ਕੇ ਰਹਿੱਣ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਰੋਗ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ। ਹਰਿ ਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਮਨ ਵੱਸ ਗਿਆ।
Meeting the True Guru, all my sufferings have ended, and the Peace of the Lord has come to dwell within my mind.

The Divine Light illuminates my inner being, and I am lovingly absorbed in the One.

साधू मुखु ऊजला पूरबि लिखिआ पाइ ॥

ਰੱਬ

ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਮੱਥੇ ਦੇ ਚੰਗ੍ਹੇ ਲੇਖ ਕਰਮ ਬਣ ਜਾਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਚੰਗ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਮਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ।
Meeting with the Holy Saint, my face is radiant; I have realized my pre-ordained destiny.

ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਨਿੱਤ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ, ਸੱਚਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ||1||
I constantly sing the Glories of the Lord of the Universe. Through the True Name, I have become spotlessly pure. ||1||

मन

कीआ इछां पूरीआ पाइआ नामु निधानु ॥

ਜੋ

ਜੀਅ ਵਿਚ ਸੀ। ਸਬ ਮਿਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਨਾਂਮ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਂਰ ਮਿਲ ਗਿਆ।
The desires of the mind are fulfilled, when the Treasure of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, is obtained.

ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਸਦਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਰਣੈਹਾਰੁ ਪਛਾਨੁ ॥

सदा संगि करणैहारु पछानु ॥

ਰੱਬ

ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਘੱਟ ਘੱਟ ਦੇ ਜਾਨਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਮਨ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਲੱਭ।
The Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts, is always with you; recognize Him as the Creator.

परसादी मुखु ऊजला जपि नामु दानु इसनानु ॥

ਨਾਂਮ

ਜੱਪਣ, ਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ, ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ, ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮੁੱਖ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਸੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
By Guru's Grace your face shall be radiant. Chanting the Naam you shall receive the benefits of giving charity and taking cleansing baths.

ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਲੋਭੁ ਬਿਨਸਿਆ ਤਜਿਆ ਸਭੁ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ॥੨॥

Kaam Krodhh Lobh Binasiaa Thajiaa Sabh Abhimaan ||2||

कामु

क्रोधु लोभु बिनसिआ तजिआ सभु अभिमानु ॥२॥

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੇ ਭੋਗ ਦੀ ਇਛਾਂ

, ਸਰੀਰ ਦੇ ਰਸ, ਹੰਕਾਰ, ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੰਕਾਂਰ, ਗੁੱਸਾ ਤੇ ਲਾਲਚ ਸਬ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ||2||
Sexual desire, anger and greed are eliminated, and all egotistical pride is abandoned. ||2||

ਪਾਇਆ ਲਾਹਾ ਲਾਭੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਏ ਕਾਮ ॥

पाइआ

लाहा लाभु नामु पूरन होए काम ॥

ਮੈਂ

ਨਾਂਮ ਦਾ ਅੰਨਦ ਹਾਂਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਲ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਬਣ ਗਏ।
The Profit of the Naam is obtained, and all affairs are brought to fruition.

ਕਰਕੇ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਮੇਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਆਪਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
In His Mercy, God unites us with Himself, and He blesses us with the Naam.

ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣਾ ਰਹਿ ਗਇਆ ਆਪਿ ਹੋਆ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨੁ ॥

आवण

जाणा रहि गइआ आपि होआ मिहरवानु ॥

ਜੰਮਣਾ

ਮਰਨਾ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ। ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਤਰਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਰੱਬ ਦਿਆਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
My comings and goings in reincarnation have come to an end; He Himself has bestowed His Mercy.

महलु घरु पाइआ गुर का सबदु पछानु ॥३॥

ਗੁਰੂ

ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਜੱਪ ਦੀ ਜਾਚ ਨਾਲ, ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ। ||3||
I have obtained my home in the True Mansion of His Presence, realizing the Word of the Guru's Shabad. ||3||

ਭਗਤ ਜਨਾ ਕਉ ਰਾਖਦਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰਿ ॥

Bhagath Janaa Ko Raakhadhaa Aapanee Kirapaa Dhhaar ||

भगत

जना कउ राखदा आपणी किरपा धारि ॥

ਜੋ

ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰੱਬ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਬਚਾ ਲੈਂਦਾਂ ਹੈ।
His humble devotees are protected and saved; He Himself showers His Blessings upon us.

ਹਲਤਿ ਪਲਤਿ ਮੁਖ ਊਜਲੇ ਸਾਚੇ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਸਾਰਿ ॥

हलति

पलति मुख ऊजले साचे के गुण सारि ॥

ਰੱਬ

ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ, ਸੰਸਾਰ ਤੇ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਨਾਲ ਥਾਂ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ। ਮੂੰਹ ਦਿਖਉਣ ਜੋਗੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਭਾਗ ਜਾਗ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ।
In this world and in the world hereafter, radiant are the faces of those who cherish and enshrine the Glories of the True Lord.

ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਗੁਣ ਸਾਰਦੇ ਰਤੇ ਰੰਗਿ ਅਪਾਰ ॥

आठ

पहर गुण सारदे रते रंगि अपार ॥

ਜੋ ਦਿਨ

ਰਾਤ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ-ਬੇਅੰਤ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦਾ ਰਸ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ।
Twenty-four hours a day, they lovingly dwell upon His Glories; they are imbued with His Infinite Love.

सतिगुरु जे मिलै पाईऐ सबदु निधानु ॥

ਜੇ ਪੂਰਾ

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਆ ਮਿਲੇ ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਂਰ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
If we meet the Perfect True Guru, we obtain the Treasure of the Shabad.

ਜੀ ਆਪਦੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ, ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਜੱਪ ਜੇ, ਮਿੱਠਾ ਰਸ ਦਾ ਅੰਨਦ ਲੈ ਸਕਾ।
Please grant Your Grace, God, that we may meditate on Your Ambrosial Naam.

ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਖੁ ਕਾਟੀਐ ਲਾਗੈ ਸਹਜਿ ਧਿਆਨੁ ॥੧॥

मरण दुखु काटीऐ लागै सहजि धिआनु ॥१॥

ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਸਾਰੇ ਰੋਗ ਨੇ ਨਾਂਮ ਜੱਪਣ ਨਾਲ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਦੇ ਨੇ। ਰੱਬ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਵ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

The pains of birth and death are taken away; we are intuitively centered on His Meditation. ||1||

हरि

बिनु दूजा को नही एको नामु धिआइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

ਰੱਬ ਤੋਂ ਵਗੈਰ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇੱਕ ਨਾਂਮ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰ। ॥

कीमति

कहणु न जाईऐ सागरु गुणी अथाहु ॥

ਉਸ

ਦੇ ਮੁੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸ ਸਕਦੇ। ਕਿਤੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਨਦਾਜ਼ਾ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਦੱਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ। ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੋਮੇ ਨੇ।
His Value cannot be estimated; He is the Vast Ocean of Excellence.

ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਮਿਲੁ ਸੰਗਤੀ ਸਚਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਵਿਸਾਹੁ ॥

मिलु संगती सचा सबदु विसाहु ॥

ਕਰਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਚੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਜੱਪ ਕੇ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਕਰ।
O most fortunate ones, join the Sangat, the Blessed Congregation; purchase the True Word of the Shabad.

सेवा सुख सागरै सिरि साहा पातिसाहु ॥२॥

ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰ, ਅੰਨਦ ਦੇ ਸੋਮੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉਚੇ ਮਾਹਾਰਾਜ ਸਮਰਾਠ ਦੀ ਚਾਕਰੀ ਕਰ।

कमल का आसरा दूजा नाही ठाउ ॥

ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਥਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ।
I take the Support of the Lord's Lotus Feet; there is no other place of rest for me.

ਮੈ ਧਰ ਤੇਰੀ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਤੇਰੈ ਤਾਣਿ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

धर तेरी पारब्रहम तेरै ताणि रहाउ ॥

ਮੈਨੂੰ

ਤੇਰਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਪਾਸਾ ਦਿਸਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮ ਪਿਤਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਬਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ ਰਹਾਉ ।
I lean upon You as my Support, O Supreme Lord God. I exist only by Your Power.

निमाणिआ

प्रभु माणु तूं तेरै संगि समाउ ॥३॥

ਤੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਜੀ ਉਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁੱਛਦਾ। ਤੁਛ ਜਿਹੇ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਜਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਦੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਬਣਾ ਲੈ। ਮੈ ਵੀ ਨਿਮਰਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਆਜਾ।

ਸਾਹ ਸਰੀਰ ਮਾਲ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋਤ ਜਾਨ ਪਾਈ।||

He preserves our soul, our breath of life, body and wealth. By His Grace, He protects our soul.

ਪਿਤਾ ਸੱਚੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਨੇਹੁ ਲੱਗ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਨਾਂ ਜੰਮਦਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾਂ ਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ।ਅਮਰ ਹੈ।
I have fallen in love with the True Lord. He does not die, He does not come and go.

वेछोड़िआ विछुड़ै सभ महि रहिआ समाइ ॥

ਪਿਤਾ ਕਦੇ ਭੁਲਾਇਆਂ ਭੁਲਦਾ, ਦੂਰ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਦੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਸਥਿਰ ਹੈ।
In separation, He is not separated from us; He is pervading and permeating amongst all.

ਦੀਨ ਦਰਦ ਦੁਖ ਭੰਜਨਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਕੈ ਸਤ ਭਾਇ ॥

दरद दुख भंजना सेवक कै सत भाइ ॥

ਰੱਬ ਉਹ

ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੋਗ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰੱਬ ਆਪਦੇ ਚਾਕਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਚਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
He is the Destroyer of the pain and suffering of the meek. He bears True Love for His servants.

ਮਾਏ ਕਮਾਲ ਦੀ ਖੇਡ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਅਮੋਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਮਿਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
