घरि ढोई न लहै दरगह झूठु खुआरु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ, ਘਰ

ਘਰ ਥਾਂ ਥਾਂ ਫਿਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਬਚਾ ਨਹੀ ਹੋਣਾ। ਮੁੱਕਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣੀ। ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਰਬਾਦੀ, ਬੇਇੱਜ਼ਤੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਮਰਨ ਪਿਛੋ ਚਰਾਸੀ ਦੀ ਜੂਨ ਪੈ ਜਾਣੀ ਹੈ। ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

In this world, you shall not find any shelter; in the world hereafter, being false, you shall suffer. ||1||Pause||

ਆਪਿ ਸੁਜਾਣੁ ਨ ਭੁਲਈ ਸਚਾ ਵਡ ਕਿਰਸਾਣੁ ॥

आपि

सुजाणु न भुलई सचा वड किरसाणु ॥

ਸੱਚਾ

ਪਿਤਾ ਗੱਲਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ। ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੁੱਲਦਾ। ਕਿਸਾਨ ਦੀ ਤਰਾਂ, ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟੀ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਜਨਮ ਦਾਤਾ ਹੈ।
The True Lord Himself knows all; He makes no mistakes. He is the Great Farmer of the Universe.

ਪਹਿਲਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਸਾਧਿ ਕੈ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇ ਦਾਣੁ ॥

Pehilaa Dhharathee Saadhh Kai Sach Naam Dhae Dhaan ||

पहिला

धरती साधि कै सचु नामु दे दाणु ॥

ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਾਹ ਸੁਆਰ ਕੇ ਚੰਗਾ ਬੀਜ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਵ ਰੱਬ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ

ਆਪਦੇ ਰਹਿੱਣ ਲਈ ਜੀਵ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਥਾਂ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਫਿਰ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਂਮ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਸਾਉਦਾ ਹੈ।
First, He prepares the ground, and then He plants the Seed of the True Name.

ਨਉ ਨਿਧਿ ਉਪਜੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਏਕੁ ਕਰਮਿ ਪਵੈ ਨੀਸਾਣੁ ॥੨॥

No Nidhh Oupajai Naam Eaek Karam Pavai Neesaan ||2||

नउ

निधि उपजै नामु एकु करमि पवै नीसाणु ॥२॥

ਰੱਬ ਜਿਸ ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁੱਖ, ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸ਼ੈਆਂ ਫੁਰਨੇ ਆ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜੀਵ ਤੇ ਮੇਹਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਦੀ ਹੈ।

The nine treasures are produced from Name of the One Lord. By His Grace, we obtain His Banner and Insignia. ||2||

ਗੁਰ ਕਉ ਜਾਣਿ ਨ ਜਾਣਈ ਕਿਆ ਤਿਸੁ ਚਜੁ ਅਚਾਰੁ ॥

कउ जाणि न जाणई किआ तिसु चजु अचारु ॥

ਗੁਰੂ

ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ-ਪਛਾਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਾਹਦੀ ਅੱਕਲ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਹੈ।
Some are very knowledgeable, but if they do not know the Guru, then what is the use of their lives?

ਅੰਧੁਲੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿਆ ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਅੰਧ ਗੁਬਾਰੁ ॥

Andhhulai Naam Visaariaa Manamukh Andhh Gubaar ||

अंधुलै

नामु विसारिआ मनमुखि अंध गुबारु ॥

ਹੇ ਜੀਵ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿਸਦਾ, ਰੱਬ

ਤੋਂ ਬਿੰਨਾਂ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਗੈਰ ਗਿਆਨ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੱਤ ਨਾਲ, ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੀਵ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
The blind have forgotten the Naam, the Name of the Lord. The self-willed manmukhs are in utter darkness.

ਆਵਣੁ ਜਾਣੁ ਨ ਚੁਕਈ ਮਰਿ ਜਨਮੈ ਹੋਇ ਖੁਆਰੁ ॥੩॥

जाणु न चुकई मरि जनमै होइ खुआरु ॥३॥

ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁਲਣਾ ਪੈਣਾ। ਚਰਾਸੀ ਦਾ ਗੇੜ ਜਨਮ, ਮਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੱਕਣਾ।

Their comings and goings in reincarnation do not end; through death and rebirth, they are wasting away. ||3||

मोलि अणाइआ कुंगू मांग संधूरु ॥

ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਮੋਹਣ ਲਈ ਸੁੰਗਦੀਆਂ

ਚੰਦਨ ਕੇਸਰ ਸੰਧੂਰ ਵਾਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੱਥੇ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਪਾਏ ਜਾਦੇ ਹਨ।
The bride may buy sandalwood oil and perfumes, and apply them in great quantities to her hair;

चंदनु बहु घणा पाना नालि कपूरु ॥

ਚੰਦਨ ਕਪੂਰ ਅਤਰ ਤੇ ਪਾਨ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਮਗਾਇਆ।
She may sweeten her breath with betel leaf and camphor,

ਜੇ ਧਨ ਕੰਤਿ ਨ ਭਾਵਈ ਤ ਸਭਿ ਅਡੰਬਰ ਕੂੜੁ ॥੪॥

धन कंति न भावई त सभि अड्मबर कूड़ु ॥४॥

ਜੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁੱਝ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਪੰਸਦ ਆਇਆ, ਸਾਰਾ ਹਾਰ ਸਿੰਗਾਰ ਫ਼ਜੂਲ ਹੈ।

But if this bride is not pleasing to her Husband Lord, then all these trappings are false. ||4||

ਸਭਿ ਰਸ ਭੋਗਣ ਬਾਦਿ ਹਹਿ ਸਭਿ ਸੀਗਾਰ ਵਿਕਾਰ ॥

सभि

रस भोगण बादि हहि सभि सीगार विकार ॥

ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਅੰਨਦ

ਲੈਣੇ, ਸਿੰਗਾਰ ਕਰਨਾਂ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਨੇ।
Her enjoyment of all pleasures is futile, and all her decorations are corrupt.

ਜਬ ਲਗੁ ਸਬਦਿ ਨ ਭੇਦੀਐ ਕਿਉ ਸੋਹੈ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਿ ॥

जब

लगु सबदि न भेदीऐ किउ सोहै गुरदुआरि ॥

ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ

ਚਿਰ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਕਿਵੇਂ ਫੱਬਾਬਾਂਗਾ? ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਚੰਗਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਣਾਂ।
Until she has been pierced through with the Shabad, how can she look beautiful at Guru's Gate?

The empty body is dreadful, when the soul goes out from within.

ਵਿਚੋ ਸਾਹਾ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਠੰਡੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਸਾਰੀ ਹਰਕੱਤ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਈ।
The burning fire of life is extinguished, and the smoke of the breath no longer emerges.

ਪੰਚੇ ਰੁੰਨੇ ਦੁਖਿ ਭਰੇ ਬਿਨਸੇ ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ॥੧॥

पंचे

रुंने दुखि भरे बिनसे दूजै भाइ ॥१॥

ਅੱਖਾਂ, ਨੱਕ, ਜੀਭ, ਕੰਨ, ਕਾਂਮ ਪਰਾਏ ਸਰੀਰ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ ਪੰਜੇ ਇੰਧਰੀਆ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਹੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਰਸ ਭੋਗੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਵੀ ਰੋਦੇਂ ਹਨ।

The five relatives (the senses) weep and wail painfully, and waste away through the love of duality. ||1||

ਜੀਵ ਮਨ ਕੀਲਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਇਆ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ ਹਨ। ਆਰ ਹੀ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਹਉਮੈ ਵਿਚ ਹਨ। ।।ਰਹਾਉ।।
Egotism and possessiveness are very enticing; egotistical pride has plundered everyone. ||1||Pause||

नामु विसारिआ दूजी कारै लगि ॥

ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ

ਜੀਵਾ ਨੇ ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਨਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਹੋਰ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Those who have forgotten the Naam, the Name of the Lord, are attached to affairs of duality.

ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਲਾਗੇ ਪਚਿ ਮੁਏ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਅਗਿ ॥

दुबिधा

लागे पचि मुए अंतरि त्रिसना अगि ॥

ਦੁਨਿਆਂਵੀ

ਕੰਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗੇ ਹਨ। ਜੀਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਤਮਾ-ਲਾਲਚ ਦੀ ਖਿਚ ਲੱਗੀ ਹੈ।
Attached to duality, they putrefy and die; they are filled with the fire of desire within.

ਗੁਰਿ ਰਾਖੇ ਸੇ ਉਬਰੇ ਹੋਰਿ ਮੁਠੀ ਧੰਧੈ ਠਗਿ ॥੨॥

गुरि

राखे से उबरे होरि मुठी धंधै ठगि ॥२॥

ਗੁਰੂ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਫੜ ਲਵੇ। ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਦੇ ਹਨ। ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁੱਜ ਗਏ।

Those who are protected by the Guru are saved; all others are cheated and plundered by deceitful worldly affairs. ||2||

ਮੁਈ ਪਰੀਤਿ ਪਿਆਰੁ ਗਇਆ ਮੁਆ ਵੈਰੁ ਵਿਰੋਧੁ ॥

परीति पिआरु गइआ मुआ वैरु विरोधु ॥

ਜੇ

ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਉਤੋ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ਼ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਵੇ। ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਮਰ ਜਾਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਗਿਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
Love dies, and affection vanishes. Hatred and alienation die.

ਧੰਧਾ ਥਕਾ ਹਉ ਮੁਈ ਮਮਤਾ ਮਾਇਆ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ॥

Dhhandhhaa Thhakaa Ho Muee Mamathaa Maaeiaa Krodhh ||

धंधा

थका हउ मुई ममता माइआ क्रोधु ॥

ਕੰਮਾਂ

ਦੀ ਦੋੜ ਹਉਮੇ ਮਰ ਗਈ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰੋਧ ਸਾਰੇ ਖੱਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
Entanglements end, and egotism dies, along with attachment to Maya, possessiveness and anger.

ਕਰਮਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਸਚੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਰੋਧੁ ॥੩॥

Karam Milai Sach Paaeeai Guramukh Sadhaa Nirodhh ||3||

करमि

मिलै सचु पाईऐ गुरमुखि सदा निरोधु ॥३॥

ਕਰਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਸੱਚਾ ਰੱਬ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਰ ਸਮੇ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਦਾ ਹੈ।

Those who receive His Mercy obtain the True One. The Gurmukhs dwell forever in balanced restraint. ||3||

ਸਚੀ ਕਾਰੈ ਸਚੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਪਲੈ ਪਾਇ ॥

Sachee Kaarai Sach Milai Guramath Palai Paae ||

सची

कारै सचु मिलै गुरमति पलै पाइ ॥

ਸੱਚੀ

ਕਿਰਤ ਨਾਂਮ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਬ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਣਾ ਲੈਦਾਂ ਹੈ।
By true actions, the True Lord is met, and the Guru's Teachings are found.

ਸੋ ਨਰੁ ਜੰਮੈ ਨਾ ਮਰੈ ਨਾ ਆਵੈ ਨਾ ਜਾਇ ॥

So Nar Janmai Naa Marai Naa Aavai Naa Jaae ||

सो

नरु जमै ना मरै ना आवै ना जाइ ॥

ਗੁਰੂ

ਦੀ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਜੀਵ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ ਤੋ ਬੱਚ ਜਾਦਾ ਹੈ।
Then, they are not subject to birth and death; they do not come and go in reincarnation.

ਨਾਨਕ ਦਰਿ ਪਰਧਾਨੁ ਸੋ ਦਰਗਹਿ ਪੈਧਾ ਜਾਇ ॥੪॥੧੪॥

दरि परधानु सो दरगहि पैधा जाइ ॥४॥१४॥

ਨਾਨਕ

ਉਹੀ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਆਗੂ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਦਰ-ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰੱਬ ਇੱਜ਼ਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾ ਪਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
O Nanak, they are respected at the Lord's Gate; they are robed in honor in the Court of the Lord. ||4||14||

तनु

जलि बलि माटी भइआ मनु माइआ मोहि मनूरु ॥

ਦੇਹ ਸਰੀਰ ਜਲ-ਮੱਚ-ਸੜ ਕੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਮਿਲ ਗਿਆ

, ਮਨ ਦੌਲਤ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਆਚ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੋਂਦ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮਨ ਦੌਲਤ ਤੇ ਮੋਹਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
The body is burnt to ashes; by its love of Maya, the mind is rusted through.

फिरि लागू भए कूरि वजावै तूरु ॥

ਜੋ

ਕੰਮ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਨੇ। ਵਿਕਾਰ ਭਾਰੂ ਹੋ ਜਾਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਫੈ਼ਇਦਾ ਨਹੀ।
Demerits become one's enemies, and falsehood blows the bugle of attack.

ਬਿਨੁ ਸਬਦੈ ਭਰਮਾਈਐ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਡੋਬੇ ਪੂਰੁ ॥੧॥

सबदै भरमाईऐ दुबिधा डोबे पूरु ॥१॥

ਰੱਬ

ਦੇ ਨਾਂਮ ਬਿੰਨ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦਾਰੀ ਜੀਵ ਗੁਆਚ ਕੇ ਡੁਬ ਜਾਦਾ ਹੈ।
Without the Word of the Shabad, people wander lost in reincarnation. Through the love of duality, multitudes have been drowned. ||1||

ਮਨ ਰੇ ਸਬਦਿ ਤਰਹੁ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਇ ॥

मन

रे सबदि तरहु चितु लाइ ॥

ਮਨ

ਤੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਾਲ ਜੀਅ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਜਾਏਗਾ।

O mind, swim across, by focusing your consciousness on the Shabad.

ਜਿਨਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਬੂਝਿਆ ਮਰਿ ਜਨਮੈ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ

जिनि

गुरमुखि नामु न बूझिआ मरि जनमै आवै जाइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

ਜਿਸ

ਜੀਵ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਨਹੀ ਲਿਆ। ਉਹ ਮਰਨ ਜਮਨ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Those who do not become Gurmukh do not understand the Naam; they die, and continue coming and going in reincarnation. ||1||Pause||

ਤਨੁ ਸੂਚਾ ਸੋ ਆਖੀਐ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਹਿ ਸਾਚਾ ਨਾਉ ॥

Than Soochaa So Aakheeai Jis Mehi Saachaa Naao ||

तनु

सूचा सो आखीऐ जिसु महि साचा नाउ ॥

ਉਹੀ

ਦੇਹ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੈ।
That body is said to be pure, in which the True Name abides.

ਭੈ ਸਚਿ ਰਾਤੀ ਦੇਹੁਰੀ ਜਿਹਵਾ ਸਚੁ ਸੁਆਉ ॥

Bhai Sach Raathee Dhaehuree Jihavaa Sach Suaao ||

भै

सचि राती देहुरी जिहवा सचु सुआउ ॥

ਜਿਸ

ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਰੱਬ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜੀਭ ਨਾਂਮ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਸ ਪੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
One whose body is imbued with the Fear of the True One, and whose tongue savors Truthfulness,

ਸਚੀ ਨਦਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਲੀਐ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ਤਾਉ ॥੨॥

Sachee Nadhar Nihaaleeai Bahurr N Paavai Thaao ||2||

सची

नदरि निहालीऐ बहुड़ि न पावै ताउ ॥२॥

ਰੱਬੀ

ਗੁਣਾ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਹਰ ਦੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਫਿਰ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਤੋ ਬੱਚ ਗਿਆ। ॥੨॥

Is brought to ecstasy by the True Lord's Glance of Grace. That person does not have to go through the fire of the womb again. ||2||

ਸਾਚੇ ਤੇ ਪਵਨਾ ਭਇਆ ਪਵਨੈ ਤੇ ਜਲੁ ਹੋਇ ॥

Saachae Thae Pavanaa Bhaeiaa Pavanai Thae Jal Hoe ||

साचे

ते पवना भइआ पवनै ते जलु होइ ॥

ਰੱਬ

ਨੇ ਹਵਾ ਤੇ ਹਵਾ ਤੋ ਪਾਣੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਜੀਵ ਦੀ ਬਣਤਰ ਪਾਣੀ ਤੋ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਨ ਸਾਹ ਪਾਏ ਨੇ।
From the True Lord came the air, and from the air came water.

ਜਲ ਤੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣੁ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਮੋਇ ॥

Jal Thae Thribhavan Saajiaa Ghatt Ghatt Joth Samoe ||

जल

ते त्रिभवणु साजिआ घटि घटि जोति समोइ ॥

ਉਸ

ਪਾਣੀ ਤੋ ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਆਪ ਹਰ ਜੀਵ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਬ ਆਪ ਜੀਵਤ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੈ।
From water, He created the three worlds; in each and every heart He has infused His Light.

ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਮੈਲਾ ਨਾ ਥੀਐ ਸਬਦਿ ਰਤੇ ਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥੩॥

Niramal Mailaa Naa Thheeai Sabadh Rathae Path Hoe ||3||

निरमलु

मैला ना थीऐ सबदि रते पति होइ ॥३॥

ਸਰੀਰ

ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਰੱਬ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਗੰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਸ਼ਬਦਾ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਮਨ ਰੋਸ਼ਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Immaculate Lord does not become polluted. Attuned to the Shabad, honor is obtained. ||3||

ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਸਾਚਿ ਸੰਤੋਖਿਆ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਤਿਸੁ ਮਾਹਿ ॥

Eihu Man Saach Santhokhiaa Nadhar Karae This Maahi ||

इहु

मनु साचि संतोखिआ नदरि करे तिसु माहि ॥

ਇਹ

ਮਨ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਂਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

One whose mind is contented with Truthfulness, is blessed with the Lord's Glance of Grace.
