ਚੰਗੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਦੀ ਚਾਕਰੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ॥



Through perfect good destiny, one serves the Sathigur.

सो बूझै जिसु आपि बुझाए ॥

He alone understands, whom the Lord Himself inspires to understand.

ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਗਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਹਰੇਕ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਅੱਕਲ ਆ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥

ਜੋ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਮੋਹ ਅਤੇ ਹੰਕਾਂਰ ਸਾੜ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥

ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ, ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਟਿਕਾਣਾਂ ਲੱਭਦਾ ਹੈ ॥

16702 ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣੁ ਰਹੈ ਥਿਰੁ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਣੇ ॥੨॥



Aavan Jaan Rehai Thhir Naam Samaanae ||2||

आवण जाणु रहै थिरु नामि समाणे ॥२॥

ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ||2||


Then, one's coming and going cease, and one becomes stable, absorbed in the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||2||

जमणु मरणा है संसारु ॥

ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜਨਣਾਂ ਮਰਨਾਂ ਹੈ ॥



The world is tied to birth and death.

16704 ਮਨਮੁਖੁ ਅਚੇਤੁ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹੁ ਗੁਬਾਰੁ ॥



Manamukh Achaeth Maaeiaa Mohu Gubaar ||

मनमुखु अचेतु माइआ मोहु गुबारु ॥

ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ, ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਂ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਕੇ, ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ ਕਰਕੇ, ਘੁੱਪ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



The unconscious, self-willed manmukh is enveloped in the darkness of Maya and emotional attachment.

16705 ਪਰ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਬਹੁ ਕੂੜੁ ਕਮਾਵੈ ॥



Par Nindhaa Bahu Koorr Kamaavai ||

पर निंदा बहु कूड़ु कमावै ॥

ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਰਾ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਨਾਂ ਕੰਮ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਗੰਦ ਇੱਕਠਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



He slanders others, and practices utter falsehood.

16706 ਵਿਸਟਾ ਕਾ ਕੀੜਾ ਵਿਸਟਾ ਮਾਹਿ ਸਮਾਵੈ ॥੩॥



Visattaa Kaa Keerraa Visattaa Maahi Samaavai ||3||

विसटा का कीड़ा विसटा माहि समावै ॥३॥

ਗੰਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੱਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਜੀਵ, ਗੰਦ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ||3||

He is a maggot in manure, and into manure he is absorbed. ||3||

16707 ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਭ ਸੋਝੀ ਪਾਏ ॥



Sathasangath Mil Sabh Sojhee Paaeae ||

सतसंगति मिलि सभ सोझी पाए ॥

ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ, ਰੱਬੀ ਗੁਣ ਹਾਂਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਕਲ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥



Joining the True Congregation, the Sat Sangat, total understanding is obtained.

16708 ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਏ ॥

गुर का सबदु हरि भगति द्रिड़ाए ॥


ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਦੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਭਗਤੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ, ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥

भाणा मंने सदा सुखु होइ ॥

ਜੋ ਬੰਦਾ ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਲ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਹਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਂਣਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



One who surrenders to the Lord's Will is peaceful forever.

ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜ ਕੇ, ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਲੋਂ ਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ ॥

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਨਾਲ, ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਣ ਨਾਲ, ਬੰਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ
He is united with the True Sathigur, the Lord God.

16714 ਨਾ ਫਿਰਿ ਮਰੈ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ ॥



Naa Fir Marai N Aavai Jaae ||

ना फिरि मरै न आवै जाइ ॥

ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ, ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਜੰਮਦਾ ਮਰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ॥



He does not die any more, and he does not come or go.

पूरे गुर ते साचि समाइ ॥१॥

16716 ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਕਉ ਨਾਮੁ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਧੁਰਿ ਲੇਖੁ ॥



Jinh Ko Naam Likhiaa Dhhur Laekh ||

जिन्ह कउ नामु लिखिआ धुरि लेखु ॥

ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਭਗਤੀ ਦਾ ਲੇਖ ਲਿਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥



One who has the Naam, the Name of the Lord, written in his pre-ordained destiny,

16717 ਤੇ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਤੇ ਭਗਤਿ ਵਿਸੇਖੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥



Thae Anadhin Naam Sadhaa Dhhiaavehi Gur Poorae Thae Bhagath Visaekh ||1|| Rehaao ||

ते अनदिनु नामु सदा धिआवहि गुर पूरे ते भगति विसेखु ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥


ਨਾਲੇ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ, ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ, ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਦਾ ਮੱਥੇ ਉਤੇ ਟਿੱਕਾ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ॥1॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Night and day, meditates forever on the Naam. he obtains the wondrous blessing of devotional love from the Perfect Sathigur. ||1||Pause||

ਜੋ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾਂ, ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



Those, whom the Lord God has blended with Himself

16719 ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਕੀ ਗਹਣ ਗਤਿ ਕਹੀ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥



Thinh Kee Gehan Gath Kehee N Jaae ||

तिन्ह की गहण गति कही न जाइ ॥

ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ॥



Their sublime state cannot be described.

16720 ਪੂਰੈ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਦਿਤੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥



Poorai Sathigur Dhithee Vaddiaaee ||

पूरै सतिगुर दिती वडिआई ॥

ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨੇ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ॥



The Perfect True Sathigur has given the Glorious Greatness,

16721 ਊਤਮ ਪਦਵੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਈ ॥੨॥



Ootham Padhavee Har Naam Samaaee ||2||

ऊतम पदवी हरि नामि समाई ॥२॥

ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਂਮ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜ ਗਏ ਹਨ ||2||


Of the most exalted order, and I am absorbed into the Lord's Name. ||2||
16722 ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ॥

जो किछु करे सु आपे आपि ॥


ਜੋ ਕੁੱਝ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥
Whatever the Lord does, He does all by Himself.

16723 ਏਕ ਘੜੀ ਮਹਿ ਥਾਪਿ ਉਥਾਪਿ ॥



Eaek Gharree Mehi Thhaap Outhhaap ||

एक घड़ी महि थापि उथापि ॥

ਰੱਬ ਇਕ ਘੜੀ ਵਿਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਕੇ, ਨਾਸ ਭੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ॥

ਹੈIn an instant, He establishes, and disestablishes.

16724 ਕਹਿ ਕਹਿ ਕਹਣਾ ਆਖਿ ਸੁਣਾਏ ॥



Kehi Kehi Kehanaa Aakh Sunaaeae ||

कहि कहि कहणा आखि सुणाए ॥

ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ। ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਇਹੀ ਆਖੇ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



By merely speaking, talking, shouting and preaching about the Lord,

16725 ਜੇ ਸਉ ਘਾਲੇ ਥਾਇ ਨ ਪਾਏ ॥੩॥



Jae So Ghaalae Thhaae N Paaeae ||3||

जे सउ घाले थाइ न पाए ॥३॥

ਜੇ ਬੰਦਾ ਸੌ ਕੰਮ, ਸੌ ਘਾਲਣਾ ਵੀ ਕਰੇ, ਤਾਂ ਭੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੇਹਨਤ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਉਤੇ ਕਬੂਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ||3||


Even hundreds of times, the mortal is not approved. ||3||
16726 ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਕੈ ਪੋਤੈ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥



Jinh Kai Pothai Punn Thinhaa Guroo Milaaeae ||

जिन्ह कै पोतै पुंनु तिन्हा गुरू मिलाए ॥

ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੱਲੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਗੁਣ ਹਨ, ਉਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



The Sathigur meets with those, who take virtue as their treasure;

Sach Baanee Gur Sabadh Sunaaeae ||

सचु बाणी गुरु सबदु सुणाए ॥

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਬੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥



They listen to the True Word of the Sathigur's Bani, the Shabad.

16728 ਜਹਾਂ ਸਬਦੁ ਵਸੈ ਤਹਾਂ ਦੁਖੁ ਜਾਏ ॥



Jehaan Sabadh Vasai Thehaan Dhukh Jaaeae ||

जहां सबदु वसै तहां दुखु जाए ॥

ਜਿਸ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਥੋਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਕਿਸਮ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥

Pain departs, from that place where the Shabad abides.

16729 ਗਿਆਨਿ ਰਤਨਿ ਸਾਚੈ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਏ ॥੪॥

गिआनि रतनि साचै सहजि समाए ॥४॥

नावै जेवडु होरु धनु नाही कोइ ॥

ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਦੌਲਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ॥



No other wealth is as great as the Naam.

जिस नो बखसे साचा सोइ ॥

ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਟੱਲ ਰਹਿੱਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



It is bestowed only by the True Lord.

पूरै सबदि मंनि वसाए ॥

ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਨਾਚ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਈ ਸਾਜ ਭੀ ਵਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



One may dance and play numerous instruments;

16736 ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਅੰਧਾ ਬੋਲਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਸੁ ਆਖਿ ਸੁਣਾਏ ॥



Eihu Man Andhhaa Bolaa Hai Kis Aakh Sunaaeae ||

इहु मनु अंधा बोला है किसु आखि सुणाए ॥

ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੀ ਮਨ, ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਤੇ ਬੋਲਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਕੇ, ਸੁਣਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ?॥

But this mind is blind and deaf, so for whose benefit is this speaking and preaching?

16737 ਅੰਤਰਿ ਲੋਭੁ ਭਰਮੁ ਅਨਲ ਵਾਉ ॥



Anthar Lobh Bharam Anal Vaao ||

अंतरि लोभु भरमु अनल वाउ ॥

ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਲਾਲਚ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਬਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਵਹਿਮ ਦਾ ਝੱਖੜ ਝੁੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥

Deep within is the fire of greed, and the dust-storm of doubt.

16738 ਦੀਵਾ ਬਲੈ ਨ ਸੋਝੀ ਪਾਇ ॥੧॥



Dheevaa Balai N Sojhee Paae ||1||

दीवा बलै न सोझी पाइ ॥१॥

ਜੇ ਮਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਦੀਵਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਗ ਸਕਦਾ, ਉਹ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ||1||


The lamp of knowledge is not burning, and understanding is not obtained. ||1||

गुरमुखि भगति घटि चानणु होइ ॥

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ ਬੱਣ ਕੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਨਾਲ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਚ ਕਰਕੇ, ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ॥



The Sathigur's Gurmukh's dance is to embrace love for the Lord;

16742 ਪੂਰੇ ਤਾਲ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਇ ॥



Poorae Thaal Vichahu Aap Gavaae ||

पूरे ताल विचहु आपु गवाइ ॥

ਇਹੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਲ ਸਿਰ ਨਾਚ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ, ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਮੈਂ-ਮੈਂ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥

To the beat of the drum, he sheds his ego from within.

16743 ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਾਚਾ ਆਪੇ ਜਾਣੁ ॥

मेरा प्रभु साचा आपे जाणु ॥

ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਣ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



My God is True; He Himself is the Knower of all.

गुरमुखि भगति जुगति सचु सोइ ॥

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਾਂ ਭਗਤੀ ਦਾ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



For the Sathigur's Gurmukh, loving devotional worship is the way to the True Lord.

16748 ਪਾਖੰਡਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਨਿਰਤਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੩॥



Paakhandd Bhagath Nirath Dhukh Hoe ||3||

पाखंडि भगति निरति दुखु होइ ॥३॥

ਦਿਖਾਵੇ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਚ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੁੱਖ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ||3||


But the dances and the worship of the hypocrites bring only pain. ||3||
16749 ਏਹਾ ਭਗਤਿ ਜਨੁ ਜੀਵਤ ਮਰੈ ॥



Eaehaa Bhagath Jan Jeevath Marai ||

एहा भगति जनु जीवत मरै ॥

ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹੀ ਹੈ। ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਤ-ਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ॥



True Devotion is to remain dead while yet alive.

गुर कै बचनि भगति थाइ पाइ ॥

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਬਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ, ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥



Through the Sathigur's Teachings, one's devotion is accepted,

16752 ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਆਪਿ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਇ ॥੪॥



Har Jeeo Aap Vasai Man Aae ||4||

हरि जीउ आपि वसै मनि आइ ॥४॥

ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਗਦਾ ਹੈ ||4||


And then, the Dear Lord Himself comes to dwell in the mind. ||4||
16753 ਹਰਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥



Har Kirapaa Karae Sathiguroo Milaaeae ||

हरि क्रिपा करे सतिगुरू मिलाए ॥

ਰੱਬ ਆਪ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



When the Lord bestows His Mercy, He leads us to meet the True Sathigur.

16754 ਨਿਹਚਲ ਭਗਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਏ ॥



Nihachal Bhagath Har Sio Chith Laaeae ||

निहचल भगति हरि सिउ चितु लाए ॥

ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਚਿੱਤ ਜੋੜੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



Then, one's devotion becomes steady, and the consciousness is centered upon the Lord.

16755 ਭਗਤਿ ਰਤੇ ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਸਚੀ ਸੋਇ ॥



Bhagath Rathae Thinh Sachee Soe ||

भगति रते तिन्ह सची सोइ ॥

ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੰਗੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਚੀ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਭਾ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ ॥



Those who are imbued with Devotion have truthful reputations.

16756 ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਰਤੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੫॥੧੨॥੫੧॥
