I have made many friends, but I am a sacrifice to the One alone God .

सभ गुण किस ही नाहि हरि पूर भंडारीआ ॥४॥
ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ, ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾਂ ਹੈ ||4||
No one has all virtues; the God alone is filled to overflowing with them. ||4||
10575 ਚਹੁ ਦਿਸਿ ਜਪੀਐ ਨਾਉ ਸੂਖਿ ਸਵਾਰੀਆ ॥

चहु दिसि जपीऐ नाउ सूखि सवारीआ ॥
ਚਾਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਰੱਬ ਜੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਉਹੀ ਅੰਨਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ॥
His Name is chanted in the four directions; those who chant it are embellished with peace.

गुरि काढिओ भुजा पसारि मोह कूपारीआ ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਦੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੂ੍ਹ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ॥
The Sathigur reached out to me, and gave me His Arm; He lifted me up, out of the pit of emotional attachment.

ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ, ਐਸਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਗੁਣ, ਗਿਆਨ ਮਹਿਮਾਂ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਡਿਆਈ ਹੈ॥

ਰੱਬ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਂਣ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਥੇ, ਉਹ ਰੱਬ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਂਹ ਲਹਿਰਾ ਕੇ, ਤੁਰਦੇ ਹਨ||7||
In the Court of the God, I am honored and glorified; I swing my arms in joy. ||7||

ਕਰੋੜਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਹੀ ਐਸਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ||3||
Among millions, how rare is that Gurmukh who attains the Name. ||3||

काम क्रोध लोभु मोहु तजो ॥
ਕਾਮ, ਕ੍ਰੋਧ, ਲੋਭ, ਮੋਹ ਮੁੱਕ ਦੇਵੋ॥
Abandon sexual desire, anger, greed and emotional attachment.
10598 ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦੁਹੁ ਤੇ ਰਹਿਓ ॥੬॥

जनम मरन दुहु ते रहिओ ॥६॥
ਜੰਮਣ-ਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ ||6||
Thus you shall be rid of both birth and death. ||6||

दूखु अंधेरा घर ते मिटिओ ॥
ਸਰੀਰ ਤੇ ਮਨ ਤੋਂ ਦਰਦ ਤੇ ਔਗੁਣ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ॥
Pain and darkness shall depart from your home.

ਮਨ ਤੱਪਦਾ, ਭੱਖਦਾ ਸੀ, ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਬਿਚਾਰਨ ਨਾਲ, ਸਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਚੰਦਨ ਲਗਉਣ ਵਾਂਗ, ਠੱਰ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਾਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ||1||

ना हम करम न धरम सुच प्रभि गहि भुजा आपाइओ ॥४॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਚੰਗੇ ਕੰਮ ਸਨ। ਨਾਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਈ ਧਰਮ ਸੀ। ਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਫੜ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ||4||
I have no good karma; I have no Dharmic faith or purity. But God has taken me by the arm, and made me His own. ||4||

सभ गुण किस ही नाहि हरि पूर भंडारीआ ॥४॥
ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ, ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾਂ ਹੈ ||4||
No one has all virtues; the God alone is filled to overflowing with them. ||4||

His Name is chanted in the four directions; those who chant it are embellished with peace.

गुरि काढिओ भुजा पसारि मोह कूपारीआ ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਦੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੂ੍ਹ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ॥

ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਰੱਬ ਚੇਤੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਭਵਜੱਲ ਤਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ॥
One who serves the God crosses over to the other side.

बलतो जलतो तउकिआ गुर चंदनु सीतलाइओ ॥१॥
ਮਨ ਤੱਪਦਾ, ਭੱਖਦਾ ਸੀ, ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਬਿਚਾਰਨ ਨਾਲ, ਸਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਚੰਦਨ ਲਗਉਣ ਵਾਂਗ, ਠੱਰ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਾਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ||1||
I was burning, on fire, and the Sathigur poured water on me; He is cooling and soothing, like the sandalwood tree. ||1||

ਔਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਬਿਚਾਰਨ ਨਾਲ, ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਚਾਨਣ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ||2||
The darkness of ignorance has been dispelled; the Sathigur has lit the lamp of spiritual wisdom. ||2||
10608 ਪਾਵਕੁ ਸਾਗਰੁ ਗਹਰੋ ਚਰਿ ਸੰਤਨ ਨਾਵ ਤਰਾਇਓ ॥੩॥

पावकु सागरु गहरो चरि संतन नाव तराइओ ॥३॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ, ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾ ਕੇ, ਮੈ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਭਵਜੱਲ ਤਰ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ ||3||
The ocean of fire is so deep; the Sathigur's Saints have crossed over, in the boat of the the Sathigur's Name. ||3||
10609 ਨਾ ਹਮ ਕਰਮ ਨ ਧਰਮ ਸੁਚ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਗਹਿ ਭੁਜਾ ਆਪਾਇਓ ॥੪॥
Naa Ham Karam N Dhharam Such Prabh Gehi Bhujaa Aapaaeiou ||4||
ना हम करम न धरम सुच प्रभि गहि भुजा आपाइओ ॥४॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਚੰਗੇ ਕੰਮ ਸਨ। ਨਾਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਈ ਧਰਮ ਸੀ। ਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਫੜ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ||4||
I have no good karma; I have no Dharmic faith or purity. But God has taken me by the arm, and made me His own. ||4||
10610 ਭਉ ਖੰਡਨੁ ਦੁਖ ਭੰਜਨੋ ਭਗਤਿ ਵਛਲ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਇਓ ॥੫॥

भउ खंडनु दुख भंजनो भगति वछल हरि नाइओ ॥५॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਡਰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਦਰਦ ਮੁੱਕਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਰੱਬ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪੇ, ਪ੍ਰਭ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਿਆਂ ਹੈ| |5||
The Destroyer of fear, the Dispeller of pain, the Lover of His Saints - these are the Names of the God. ||5||
10611 ਅਨਾਥਹ ਨਾਥ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਦੀਨ ਸੰਮ੍ਰਿਥ ਸੰਤ ਓਟਾਇਓ ॥੬॥

अनाथह नाथ क्रिपाल दीन सम्रिथ संत ओटाइओ ॥६॥
ਬੇਸਹਾਰਾ, ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਮੇਹਰਬਾਨ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਭਗਵਾਨ ਜੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਤੱਕੀ ਹੈ ||6||
He is the Master of the masterless, Merciful to the meek, All-powerful, the Support of His Saints. ||6||

ਨਿਰਗੁਨੀਆਰੇ ਕੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਦੇਹੁ ਦਰਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇਓ ॥੭॥

निरगुनीआरे की बेनती देहु दरसु हरि राइओ ॥७॥
I am worthless I offer this prayer my God King: Please, grant me the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan.|7||

Sathigur Nanak has come to Your Sanctuary, God Your servant has come to Your Door. ||8||2||14||
