They wear and eat the gifts from the Lord.
8375 ਤਿਸੁ ਸਿਉ ਆਲਸੁ ਕਿਉ ਬਨੈ ਮਾਇ ॥੧॥

खसमु बिसारि आन कमि लागहि ॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ, ਹੋਰ ਧੰਦੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ॥
Forgetting her Husband Lord, and attaching herself to other affairs.
8377 ਕਉਡੀ ਬਦਲੇ ਰਤਨੁ ਤਿਆਗਹਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ, ਕੌਡੀ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਲ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਲਈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਨਾਂਮ ਰਤਨ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਹੈ ॥1॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
The soul-bride throws away the precious jewel in exchange for a mere shell. ||1||Pause||

प्रभू तिआगि लागत अन लोभा ॥
ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਭੁੱਲਾ ਕੇ, ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਲਾਲਚਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ॥
Forsaking God, she is attached to other desires.
8379 ਦਾਸਿ ਸਲਾਮੁ ਕਰਤ ਕਤ ਸੋਭਾ ॥੨॥
Dhaas Salaam Karath Kath Sobhaa ||2||
दासि सलामु करत कत सोभा ॥२॥
ਗੁਲਾਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰ ਝੁਕਾਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕਹਿੱਣਾਂ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂਹੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ||2||
But who has gained honor by saluting the slave? ||2||
8380 ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸੁ ਖਾਵਹਿ ਖਾਨ ਪਾਨ ॥

अम्रित रसु खावहि खान पान ॥
ਖਾ-ਪੀ ਕੇ, ਮਿੱਠੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸੁ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਕੇ ਅੰਨਦ ਮਾਂਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ॥
They consume food and drink, delicious and sublime as ambrosial nectar.
8381 ਜਿਨਿ ਦੀਏ ਤਿਸਹਿ ਨ ਜਾਨਹਿ ਸੁਆਨ ॥੩॥
Jin Dheeeae Thisehi N Jaanehi Suaan ||3||
जिनि दीए तिसहि न जानहि सुआन ॥३॥
ਜੋ ਮਾਲਕ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ||3||

I meditate on the Feet of God within my mind.

सगल तीरथ मजन इसनानु ॥१॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮਿਕ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਜਰਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੰਨ ਲੱਗ ਕੇ ਨਹਾਂਉਣ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ||1||
This is my cleansing bath at all the sacred shrines of pilgrimage. ||1||

ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰੀਏ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੋਸਤੋ, ਵੀਰੋ॥
Meditate in remembrance on the Lord every day, O my Siblings of Destiny.

Sitting in the Society of the Saints, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
8390 ਮਨ ਬਾਂਛਤ ਸਗਲੇ ਫਲ ਪਾਈ ॥੨॥
Man Baanshhath Sagalae Fal Paaee ||2||
मन बांछत सगले फल पाई ॥२॥
ਦਿਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮਨੋਂ ਕਾਂਮਨਾਂ ਹਾਂਸਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਮਨੋਂ ਕਾਂਮਨਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਹਨ||2||
And you shall obtain all the desires of your mind. ||2||
8391 ਜੀਵਨ ਮਰਣੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਪਰਵਾਨੁ ॥
Jeevan Maran Janam Paravaan ||
जीवन मरणु जनमु परवानु ॥
ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਜੰਮਣਾਂ ਮਰਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਫ਼ਲ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ॥
Redeemed is the life, death and birth of those.
8392 ਜਾ ਕੈ ਰਿਦੈ ਵਸੈ ਭਗਵਾਨੁ ॥੩॥
Jaa Kai Ridhai Vasai Bhagavaan ||3||
जा कै रिदै वसै भगवानु ॥३॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ||3||
Within whose hearts the Lord God abides. ||3||
8393 ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੇਈ ਜਨ ਪੂਰੇ ॥
Kahu Naanak Saeee Jan Poorae ||
कहु नानक सेई जन पूरे ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਦੱਸ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ। ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਹਨ॥
Says Sathigur Nanak, those humble beings are perfect.
8394 ਜਿਨਾ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਸਾਧੂ ਧੂਰੇ ॥੪॥੭੭॥੧੪੬॥

ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਰਨ ਧੂੜੀ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ||4||77||146||

ਬੰਦਾ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਖਾਂਦਾ-ਪੀਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਦਾਤੇ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, " ਇਹ ਮੈਂ ਆਪ ਮੇਹਨਤ ਕਰਕੇ, ਹਾਂਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। "॥
They eat and wear what they are given, but still, they deny the Lord.
8397 ਤਿਸ ਨੋ ਜੋਹਹਿ ਦੂਤ ਧਰਮਰਾਇ ॥੧॥

तिस नो जोहहि दूत धरमराइ ॥१॥
ਐਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਤੇ ਜੰਮਦੂਤ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ||1||
The messengers of the Righteous Judge of Dharma shall hunt them down. ||1||
8398 ਤਿਸੁ ਸਿਉ ਬੇਮੁਖੁ ਜਿਨਿ ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਦੀਨਾ ॥

तिसु सिउ बेमुखु जिनि जीउ पिंडु दीना ॥
ਬੰਦਾ ਉਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਮੂੰਹ ਫੇਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਤਨ-ਮਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ॥
They are unfaithful to the One, who has given them body and soul.

ਤਾਂਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਕਰੋੜ ਬਾਰ ਜਨਮ-ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਜੀਵਾਂ-ਜੰਤੂਆਂ, ਬਨਸਪਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਮਦਾ ਹੈ॥1॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Through millions of incarnations, for so many lifetimes, they wander lost. ||1||Pause||

Such is the lifestyle of the faithless cynics.

जो किछु करै सगल बिपरीति ॥२॥

Everything they do is evil. ||2||
8402 ਜੀਉ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਜਿਨਿ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਧਾਰਿਆ ॥

जीउ प्राण जिनि मनु तनु धारिआ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ, ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰੀਰ, ਜਿੰਦ, ਜਾਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਬੱਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ॥
Who created the soul, breath of life, mind and body.
8403 ਸੋਈ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਮਨਹੁ ਬਿਸਾਰਿਆ ॥੩॥

सोई ठाकुरु मनहु बिसारिआ ॥३॥
ਉਹੀ ਬੱਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਯਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ||3||
Within their minds, they have forgotten that Lord and Master.||3||

बधे बिकार लिखे बहु कागर ॥
ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਂ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਮਾੜੇ ਕੰਮ ਐਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪੇਪਰ ਤੇ ਲਿਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਹਨ॥
Their wickedness and corruption have increased. they are recorded in volumes of books.
8405 ਨਾਨਕ ਉਧਰੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰ ॥੪॥

नानक उधरु क्रिपा सुख सागर ॥४॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਅੰਨਦ ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਮੇਹਰਬਾਨੀ ਕਰਕੇ, ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰਕੇ, ਅਧਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ||4||

For their own advantage, they make God their friend.

सगल मनोरथ मुकति पदु दीतु ॥१॥
ਰੱਬ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੇ ਊਚੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ-ਪਦਵੀ ਵੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ||1||

ਐਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਇਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੀ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਫ਼ੈਇਦੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ॥1॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

8413 ਅਪੁਨੈ ਸੁਆਇ ਰਿਦੈ ਲੈ ਧਾਰਿਆ ॥
Apunai Suaae Ridhai Lai Dhhaariaa ||
अपुनै सुआइ रिदै लै धारिआ ॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ॥
For their own purposes, they enshrine the Lord in the heart.
8414 ਦੂਖ ਦਰਦ ਰੋਗ ਸਗਲ ਬਿਦਾਰਿਆ ॥੨॥
Dhookh Dharadh Rog Sagal Bidhaariaa ||2||
दूख दरद रोग सगल बिदारिआ ॥२॥
ਪੀੜਾਂ, ਰੋਗ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ||2||
All pain, suffering and disease are taken away. ||2||
8415 ਰਸਨਾ ਗੀਧੀ ਬੋਲਤ ਰਾਮ ॥
Rasanaa Geedhhee Bolath Raam ||
रसना गीधी बोलत राम ॥
ਜਿਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੀ ਜੁਬਾਨ-ਜੀਭ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ॥
In the Saadh Sangat, I have earned the wealth of the Naam.
8416 ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਏ ਸਗਲੇ ਕਾਮ ॥੩॥
Pooran Hoeae Sagalae Kaam ||3||
पूरन होए सगले काम ॥३॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਸਿਰੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ||3||

पीवत राम रसु अम्रित गुण जासु ॥
ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਮਿੱਠੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ-ਰਸ ਦਾ ਅੰਨਦ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ॥
Peace, celestial bliss, pleasures and the greatest ecstasy are obtained.

ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਇੱਛਵਾਂ, ਖ਼ਾਸ਼ਾਂ, ਸੁਖ, ਅੰਨਦ, ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ, ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਭਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ॥
The treasure of all happiness, celestial peace and poise.

Forgetting her Husband Lord, and attaching herself to other affairs.

Forsaking God, she is attached to other desires.

दासि सलामु करत कत सोभा ॥२॥
ਗੁਲਾਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰ ਝੁਕਾਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕਹਿੱਣਾਂ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂਹੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ||2||
But who has gained honor by saluting the slave? ||2||

ਖਾ-ਪੀ ਕੇ, ਮਿੱਠੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸੁ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਕੇ ਅੰਨਦ ਮਾਂਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ॥
They consume food and drink, delicious and sublime as ambrosial nectar.
8381 ਜਿਨਿ ਦੀਏ ਤਿਸਹਿ ਨ ਜਾਨਹਿ ਸੁਆਨ ॥੩॥

जिनि दीए तिसहि न जानहि सुआन ॥३॥
ਜੋ ਮਾਲਕ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ||3||

I meditate on the Feet of God within my mind.

सगल तीरथ मजन इसनानु ॥१॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮਿਕ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਜਰਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੰਨ ਲੱਗ ਕੇ ਨਹਾਂਉਣ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ||1||
This is my cleansing bath at all the sacred shrines of pilgrimage. ||1||
8387 ਹਰਿ ਦਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ ॥

हरि दिनु हरि सिमरनु मेरे भाई ॥
ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰੀਏ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੋਸਤੋ, ਵੀਰੋ॥
Meditate in remembrance on the Lord every day, O my Siblings of Destiny.

ਦਿਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮਨੋਂ ਕਾਂਮਨਾਂ ਹਾਂਸਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਮਨੋਂ ਕਾਂਮਨਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਹਨ||2||
And you shall obtain all the desires of your mind. ||2||
8391 ਜੀਵਨ ਮਰਣੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਪਰਵਾਨੁ ॥
Jeevan Maran Janam Paravaan ||
जीवन मरणु जनमु परवानु ॥
ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਜੰਮਣਾਂ ਮਰਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਫ਼ਲ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ॥
Redeemed is the life, death and birth of those.
8392 ਜਾ ਕੈ ਰਿਦੈ ਵਸੈ ਭਗਵਾਨੁ ॥੩॥

जा कै रिदै वसै भगवानु ॥३॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ||3||
Within whose hearts the Lord God abides. ||3||
8393 ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੇਈ ਜਨ ਪੂਰੇ ॥

कहु नानक सेई जन पूरे ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਦੱਸ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ। ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਹਨ॥

ਬੰਦਾ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਖਾਂਦਾ-ਪੀਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਦਾਤੇ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, " ਇਹ ਮੈਂ ਆਪ ਮੇਹਨਤ ਕਰਕੇ, ਹਾਂਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। "॥
They eat and wear what they are given, but still, they deny the Lord.
8397 ਤਿਸ ਨੋ ਜੋਹਹਿ ਦੂਤ ਧਰਮਰਾਇ ॥੧॥

तिस नो जोहहि दूत धरमराइ ॥१॥
ਐਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਤੇ ਜੰਮਦੂਤ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ||1||
The messengers of the Righteous Judge of Dharma shall hunt them down. ||1||
8398 ਤਿਸੁ ਸਿਉ ਬੇਮੁਖੁ ਜਿਨਿ ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਦੀਨਾ ॥
This Sio Baemukh Jin Jeeo Pindd Dheenaa ||
तिसु सिउ बेमुखु जिनि जीउ पिंडु दीना ॥
ਬੰਦਾ ਉਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਮੂੰਹ ਫੇਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਤਨ-ਮਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ॥
They are unfaithful to the One, who has given them body and soul.
8399 ਕੋਟਿ ਜਨਮ ਭਰਮਹਿ ਬਹੁ ਜੂਨਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

कोटि जनम भरमहि बहु जूना ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
ਤਾਂਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਕਰੋੜ ਬਾਰ ਜਨਮ-ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਜੀਵਾਂ-ਜੰਤੂਆਂ, ਬਨਸਪਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਮਦਾ ਹੈ॥1॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Through millions of incarnations, for so many lifetimes, they wander lost. ||1||Pause||
8400 ਸਾਕਤ ਕੀ ਐਸੀ ਹੈ ਰੀਤਿ ॥

साकत की ऐसी है रीति ॥
ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਂ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਇਹ ਚੱਜ-ਲੱਛਣ ਹਨ॥
Such is the lifestyle of the faithless cynics.
8401 ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰੈ ਸਗਲ ਬਿਪਰੀਤਿ ॥੨॥

जो किछु करै सगल बिपरीति ॥२॥
ਜੋ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਾਰੇ ਰੱਬ ਤੋਂ ਉਲਟ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ||2||
Everything they do is evil. ||2||
8402 ਜੀਉ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਜਿਨਿ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਧਾਰਿਆ ॥
Jeeo Praan Jin Man Than Dhhaariaa ||
जीउ प्राण जिनि मनु तनु धारिआ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ, ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰੀਰ, ਜਿੰਦ, ਜਾਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਬੱਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ॥
Who created the soul, breath of life, mind and body.
8403 ਸੋਈ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਮਨਹੁ ਬਿਸਾਰਿਆ ॥੩॥

सोई ठाकुरु मनहु बिसारिआ ॥३॥
ਉਹੀ ਬੱਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਯਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ||3||
Within their minds, they have forgotten that Lord and Master.||3||
8404 ਬਧੇ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਲਿਖੇ ਬਹੁ ਕਾਗਰ ॥
Badhhae Bikaar Likhae Bahu Kaagar ||
बधे बिकार लिखे बहु कागर ॥
ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਂ ਮੰਨਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਮਾੜੇ ਕੰਮ ਐਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪੇਪਰ ਤੇ ਲਿਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਹਨ॥
Their wickedness and corruption have increased. they are recorded in volumes of books.
8405 ਨਾਨਕ ਉਧਰੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਗਰ ॥੪॥

नानक उधरु क्रिपा सुख सागर ॥४॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਅੰਨਦ ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਮੇਹਰਬਾਨੀ ਕਰਕੇ, ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰਕੇ, ਅਧਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ||4||
Sathigur Nanak, they are saved only by the Mercy of God, the Ocean of peace. ||4||

For their own advantage, they make God their friend.
8410 ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਪਦੁ ਦੀਤੁ ॥੧॥

सगल मनोरथ मुकति पदु दीतु ॥१॥
ਰੱਬ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੇ ਊਚੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ-ਪਦਵੀ ਵੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ||1||
He fulfills all their desires, and blesses them with the state of liberation. ||1||
8411 ਐਸਾ ਮੀਤੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਇ ॥
Aisaa Meeth Karahu Sabh Koe ||
ऐसा मीतु करहु सभु कोइ ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਰੱਬ ਦੋਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲਵੋ॥
Everyone should make Him such a friend.
8412 ਜਾ ਤੇ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Jaa Thae Birathhaa Koe N Hoe ||1|| Rehaao ||
जा ते बिरथा कोइ न होइ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
ਐਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਇਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੀ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਫ਼ੈਇਦੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ॥1॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
No one goes away empty-handed from Him. ||1||Pause||
8413 ਅਪੁਨੈ ਸੁਆਇ ਰਿਦੈ ਲੈ ਧਾਰਿਆ ॥

अपुनै सुआइ रिदै लै धारिआ ॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ॥
For their own purposes, they enshrine the Lord in the heart.
8414 ਦੂਖ ਦਰਦ ਰੋਗ ਸਗਲ ਬਿਦਾਰਿਆ ॥੨॥
Dhookh Dharadh Rog Sagal Bidhaariaa ||2||
दूख दरद रोग सगल बिदारिआ ॥२॥
ਪੀੜਾਂ, ਰੋਗ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ||2||
All pain, suffering and disease are taken away. ||2||
8415 ਰਸਨਾ ਗੀਧੀ ਬੋਲਤ ਰਾਮ ॥
Rasanaa Geedhhee Bolath Raam ||
रसना गीधी बोलत राम ॥
ਜਿਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੀ ਜੁਬਾਨ-ਜੀਭ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ॥
In the Saadh Sangat, I have earned the wealth of the Naam.
8416 ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਏ ਸਗਲੇ ਕਾਮ ॥੩॥
Pooran Hoeae Sagalae Kaam ||3||
पूरन होए सगले काम ॥३॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਸਿਰੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ||3||
And all their works are brought to perfection. ||3||
8417 ਅਨਿਕ ਬਾਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਾ ॥

अनिक बार नानक बलिहारा ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਬਾਨ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ॥
So many times, Sathigur Nanak is a sacrifice to Him.

ਜੋ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਲ-ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਰੱਬੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਨ||1||
For those who listen to the Sermon of the Lord, Har, Har, in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ||1||
8422 ਪੀਵਤ ਰਾਮ ਰਸੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਗੁਣ ਜਾਸੁ ॥
Peevath Raam Ras Anmrith Gun Jaas ||
पीवत राम रसु अम्रित गुण जासु ॥
ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਮਿੱਠੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ-ਰਸ ਦਾ ਅੰਨਦ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ॥
Peace, celestial bliss, pleasures and the greatest ecstasy are obtained.

8424 ਸਰਬ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥

सरब कलिआण सुख सहज निधान ॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਇੱਛਵਾਂ, ਖ਼ਾਸ਼ਾਂ, ਸੁਖ, ਅੰਨਦ, ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ, ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਭਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਵਸਤੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ॥
The treasure of all happiness, celestial peace and poise.
8425 ਜਾ ਕੈ ਰਿਦੈ ਵਸਹਿ ਭਗਵਾਨ ॥੨॥
Jaa Kai Ridhai Vasehi Bhagavaan ||2||
जा कै रिदै वसहि भगवान ॥२॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸਿਰਜਹਾਰ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਦਿਸਦੇ ਹਨ ||2||
Are obtained by those, whose hearts are filled with the Lord God. ||2||
