जोग जुगति सुनि आइओ गुर ते ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲਣੇ ਦੀ ਸਾਧਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੁਗਤੀ ਆ ਗਈ ਹੈ॥
I came to the Sathigur, to learn the Way of Jog Jugath .

8983 ਨਉ ਖੰਡ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੀ ਇਸੁ ਤਨ ਮਹਿ ਰਵਿਆ ਨਿਮਖ ਨਿਮਖ ਨਮਸਕਾਰਾ ॥
No Khandd Prithhamee Eis Than Mehi Raviaa Nimakh Nimakh Namasakaaraa ||
नउ खंड प्रिथमी इसु तन महि रविआ निमख निमख नमसकारा ॥
ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਨਉ ਖੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ, ਹਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਕੇ, ਪ੍ਰਨਾਂਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ਼ੁਕਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਦਾਂ ਹਾਂ।
God is contained in the nine continents of the world, and within this body; each and every moment, I humbly bow to Him.
8984 ਦੀਖਿਆ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਮੁੰਦ੍ਰਾ ਕਾਨੀ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਿਓ ਏਕੁ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰਾ ॥੧॥

दीखिआ गुर की मुंद्रा कानी द्रिड़िओ एकु निरंकारा ॥१॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨੱਤੀਆਂ, ਜੋਗੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ, ਮੈਂ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਲਈਆ ਹਨ। ਇੱਕ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਦਾਂ ਹਾਂ ||1||
I have made the Sathigur 's Teachings my ear-rings, and I have enshrined the One Formless God within my being. ||1||
8985 ਪੰਚ ਚੇਲੇ ਮਿਲਿ ਭਏ ਇਕਤ੍ਰਾ ਏਕਸੁ ਕੈ ਵਸਿ ਕੀਏ ॥
Panch Chaelae Mil Bheae Eikathraa Eaekas Kai Vas Keeeae ||
पंच चेले मिलि भए इकत्रा एकसु कै वसि कीए ॥
ਪੰਜੇ ਕਾਂਮ, ਕਰੋਧ, ਲੋਭ, ਮੋਹ, ਹੰਕਾਂਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਹਿੱਣਾਂ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ, ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਮੇਰਾ ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਇੰਨਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ॥
I have brought the five disciples together, and they are now under the control of the one God mind.
8986 ਦਸ ਬੈਰਾਗਨਿ ਆਗਿਆਕਾਰੀ ਤਬ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਜੋਗੀ ਥੀਏ ॥੨॥

दस बैरागनि आगिआकारी तब निरमल जोगी थीए ॥२॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੇ ਦਸ ਰਸ ਅੱਕਲ-ਬੁੱਧੀ, ਦੋ ਕੰਨ, ਦੋ ਅੱਖਾਂ, ਦੋ ਸੂਗਣ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ, ਮੂੰਹ, ਦੋ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੀ ਖੁਰਾਕ ਫਾਲਤੂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਣ ਦੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਵੀ ਕਾਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਹੀ ਅਸਲੀ ਸਾਧ ਹੈ| |2||
When the ten hermits become obedient to the God then I became an immaculate Jogee. ||2||
8987 ਭਰਮੁ ਜਰਾਇ ਚਰਾਈ ਬਿਭੂਤਾ ਪੰਥੁ ਏਕੁ ਕਰਿ ਪੇਖਿਆ ॥

भरमु जराइ चराई बिभूता पंथु एकु करि पेखिआ ॥
ਡਰ ਵਹਿਮਾਂ, ਸਹਿਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਕੇ, ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੁਆਹ ਮਲੀ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਰੱਬ ਇੱਕ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਦੇਖਦਾਂ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਦੀ ਜੋਗੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਦਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਹੈ॥
I have burnt my doubt, and smeared my body with the ashes. My path is to see the one and only God.
8988 ਸਹਜ ਸੂਖ ਸੋ ਕੀਨੀ ਭੁਗਤਾ ਜੋ ਠਾਕੁਰਿ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲੇਖਿਆ ॥੩॥

सहज सूख सो कीनी भुगता जो ठाकुरि मसतकि लेखिआ ॥३॥
ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰਕੇ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਅੰਨਦ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਵਿੱਚ, ਇਹ ਸੁਖ ਉਕਾਰ ਕੇ ਲਿਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ||3||
I have made that intuitive peace my food, the God has written this pre-ordained destiny upon my forehead. ||3||
8989 ਜਹ ਭਉ ਨਾਹੀ ਤਹਾ ਆਸਨੁ ਬਾਧਿਓ ਸਿੰਗੀ ਅਨਹਤ ਬਾਨੀ ॥
Jeh Bho Naahee Thehaa Aasan Baadhhiou Singee Anehath Baanee ||
जह भउ नाही तहा आसनु बाधिओ सिंगी अनहत बानी ॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਡਰ ਸਹਿਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ। ਮੈਂ ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ, ਸੁਣਨ, ਬਿਚਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਠਾਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਧੁੰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਿਆਨ ਲੱਗਾ ਕੇ ਬੈਠੀ ਹਾਂ॥
In that place where there is no fear, I have assumed my yogic posture. The unstruck melody of the God Bani is my horn.
8990 ਤਤੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ ਡੰਡਾ ਕਰਿ ਰਾਖਿਓ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਨੀ ॥੪॥
Thath Beechaar Ddanddaa Kar Raakhiou Jugath Naam Man Bhaanee ||4||
ततु बीचारु डंडा करि राखिओ जुगति नामु मनि भानी ॥४॥
ਰੱਬੀ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨਾਂ ਹੀ, ਮੈਂ ਜੋਗੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਡੰਡਾ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਹੈ। ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਣਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੈਇਦਾ-ਲਾਭ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ||4||
I have made contemplation upon the essential reality my Yogic staff. The Love of the
God 's name in my mind is my Yogic lifestyle. ||4||
8991 ਐਸਾ ਜੋਗੀ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਭੇਟੈ ਮਾਇਆ ਕੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਕਾਟੈ ॥
Aisaa Jogee Vaddabhaagee Bhaettai Maaeiaa Kae Bandhhan Kaattai ||
ऐसा जोगी वडभागी भेटै माइआ के बंधन काटै ॥
ਐਸਾ ਸਾਧ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਲਚਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲਵੇ॥
By great good fortune, such a Yogi is met, who cuts away the bonds of maya.
8992 ਸੇਵਾ ਪੂਜ ਕਰਉ ਤਿਸੁ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਕੀ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਪਗ ਚਾਟੈ ॥੫॥੧੧॥੧੩੨॥

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਚਾਕਰੀ, ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਕਰਦਾਂ ਹਾਂ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਕੇ, ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਿਆਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਦਾ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਿਤਾਰਦਾਂ ਹਾਂ। ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ, ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੰਮਦਾਂ ਹਾਂ ||5||11||132||

अनूप पदारथु नामु सुनहु सगल धिआइले मीता ॥
ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਐਸਾ ਅੰਨਦ-ਸੁਆਦ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ। ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੋਸਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰੀਏ॥

8995 ਹਰਿ ਅਉਖਧੁ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਆ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਚੀਤਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Har Aoukhadhh Jaa Ko Gur Dheeaa Thaa Kae Niramal Cheethaa ||1|| Rehaao ||
हरि अउखधु जा कउ गुरि दीआ ता के निरमल चीता ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਦਾਰੂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ-ਰਾਜ਼ੀ-ਤੱਕੜੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ॥1॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Those, unto whom the Sathigur has given the God's medicine - their minds become pure and immaculate. ||1||Pause||
8996 ਅੰਧਕਾਰੁ ਮਿਟਿਓ ਤਿਹ ਤਨ ਤੇ ਗੁਰਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਦੀਪਕੁ ਪਰਗਾਸਾ ॥
Andhhakaar Mittiou Thih Than Thae Gur Sabadh Dheepak Paragaasaa ||
अंधकारु मिटिओ तिह तन ते गुरि सबदि दीपकु परगासा ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ, ਮਨ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਡਰ ਤੇ ਲਾਲਚ ਦਾ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਮੁੱਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Darkness is dispelled from within that body, in which the Divine Light of the Sathigur's Shabad shines.

Bhram Kee Jaalee Thaa Kee Kaattee Jaa Ko Saadhhasangath Bisvaasaa ||1||
भ्रम की जाली ता की काटी जा कउ साधसंगति बिस्वासा ॥१॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਤੇ ਭਗਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਕੀਨ ਬੱਣ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਡਰ, ਝੱਗੜੇ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ||1||
The noose of doubt is cut away from those who place their faith in the Sathigur Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ||1||
8998 ਤਾਰੀਲੇ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਤਾਰੂ ਬਿਖੜਾ ਬੋਹਿਥ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਾ ॥
Thaareelae Bhavajal Thaaroo Bikharraa Bohithh Saadhhoo Sangaa ||
तारीले भवजलु तारू बिखड़ा बोहिथ साधू संगा ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਐਸੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਜ਼ਹਾਜ਼ ਹਨ। ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਂਪਾਂ, ਲਾਲਚਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ॥
The treacherous and terrifying world-ocean is crossed over, in the boat of the Sathigur Saadh Sangat.
8999 ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਈ ਮਨ ਕੀ ਆਸਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਾ ॥੨॥

पूरन होई मन की आसा गुरु भेटिओ हरि रंगा ॥२॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ||2||
My mind's desires are fulfilled, meeting the Sathigur, in love with the God. ||2||
9000 ਨਾਮ ਖਜਾਨਾ ਭਗਤੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਅਘਾਏ ॥
Naam Khajaanaa Bhagathee Paaeiaa Man Than Thripath Aghaaeae ||
नाम खजाना भगती पाइआ मन तन त्रिपति अघाए ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ, ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੱਥ ਲੱਗ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਰੀਰ ਜਿੰਦ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਕੂਨ-ਸ਼ਾਤੀ ਮਿਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ॥
The devotees have found the treasure of the Sathigur Naam; their minds and bodies are satisfied and satiated.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ, ਉਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਆਪਣਾਂ ਭਾਣਾਂ ਮਨ ਕੇ, ਅੱਕਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ||3||12||133||

ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਲਚਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਰੱਖ ਲਵੋ। ਮੇਰੀ ਕੋਈ ਅੱਕਲ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੀ ॥1॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

करन करावन सभ किछु तुम ही तुम समरथ नाही अन होरी ॥
ਤੂੰਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ। ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁੱਝ ਕਰਦਾਂ ਹੈ। ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਦੂਜਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ॥
You are the Doer, the Cause of causes. You are everything. You are All-powerful; there is no other than You.

तुमरी गति मिति तुम ही जानी से सेवक जिन भाग मथोरी ॥१॥
ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ, ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਮ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਤੂਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਣਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਦਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਰਮ, ਉਗੜਦਾ-ਬੌੜਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਕੇ, ਤੇਰੀ ਚਾਕਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ||1||
You God alone know your condition and extent. They alone become your servants, upon whose foreheads such good destiny is recorded. ||1||

अपुने सेवक संगि तुम प्रभ राते ओति पोति भगतन संगि जोरी ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਜੋ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਤੂੰ ਐਨਾਂ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾਂ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਦੇ ਤਾਣੇ ਪੇਟੇ ਦੀ ਬੱਣਤਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਰੱਬ ਜੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਬੱਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ॥
You are imbued with your Saevak, God your devotees are woven into your fabric, through and through.

ਜਿਵੇ ਚਕੋਰ ਚੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ ਲਈ, ਚੰਦ ਵੱਲ ਝਾਕੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣਾਂ ਲੋਚਦਾਂ ਹਾਂ||2||
Darling God beloved, they yearn for your name and the blessed vision of your darshan, like the chakvee bird which longs to see the moon. ||2||
9009 ਰਾਮ ਸੰਤ ਮਹਿ ਭੇਦੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਏਕੁ ਜਨੁ ਕਈ ਮਹਿ ਲਾਖ ਕਰੋਰੀ ॥
Raam Santh Mehi Bhaedh Kishh Naahee Eaek Jan Kee Mehi Laakh Karoree ||
राम संत महि भेदु किछु नाही एकु जनु कई महि लाख करोरी ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ, ਪ੍ਰਭ, ਭਗਤ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਲੱਖਾ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ, ਕੋਈ ਇਕ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਪਿਆਰਾ ਭਗਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ॥
Between the God Sathigur, Saint, there is no difference at all. Among hundreds of thousands and millions, there is scarcely one humble being.

Those whose hearts are illuminated by God, sing the kirtan of his Praises night and day with their tongues. ||3||

तुम समरथ अपार अति ऊचे सुखदाते प्रभ प्रान अधोरी ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਾਤੇ ਹੋ। ਬਹੁਤ ਊਚੇ ਹੋ। ਬੇਅੰਤ ਅੰਨਦ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ। ਮੇਰੇ ਜਿਉਣ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਹੋ॥

ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਨਉ ਖੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ, ਹਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਕੇ, ਪ੍ਰਨਾਂਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ਼ੁਕਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਦਾਂ ਹਾਂ।
God is contained in the nine continents of the world, and within this body; each and every moment, I humbly bow to Him.

ਪੰਜੇ ਕਾਂਮ, ਕਰੋਧ, ਲੋਭ, ਮੋਹ, ਹੰਕਾਂਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਹਿੱਣਾਂ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ, ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਮੇਰਾ ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਇੰਨਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ॥
I have brought the five disciples together, and they are now under the control of the one God mind.

ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੇ ਦਸ ਰਸ ਅੱਕਲ-ਬੁੱਧੀ, ਦੋ ਕੰਨ, ਦੋ ਅੱਖਾਂ, ਦੋ ਸੂਗਣ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ, ਮੂੰਹ, ਦੋ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੀ ਖੁਰਾਕ ਫਾਲਤੂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਣ ਦੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਵੀ ਕਾਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਹੀ ਅਸਲੀ ਸਾਧ ਹੈ| |2||

भरमु जराइ चराई बिभूता पंथु एकु करि पेखिआ ॥
ਡਰ ਵਹਿਮਾਂ, ਸਹਿਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਕੇ, ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੁਆਹ ਮਲੀ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਰੱਬ ਇੱਕ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਦੇਖਦਾਂ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਦੀ ਜੋਗੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਦਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਹੈ॥
I have burnt my doubt, and smeared my body with the ashes. My path is to see the one and only God.

सहज सूख सो कीनी भुगता जो ठाकुरि मसतकि लेखिआ ॥३॥
ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰਕੇ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਅੰਨਦ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਵਿੱਚ, ਇਹ ਸੁਖ ਉਕਾਰ ਕੇ ਲਿਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ||3||
I have made that intuitive peace my food, the God has written this pre-ordained destiny upon my forehead. ||3||
8989 ਜਹ ਭਉ ਨਾਹੀ ਤਹਾ ਆਸਨੁ ਬਾਧਿਓ ਸਿੰਗੀ ਅਨਹਤ ਬਾਨੀ ॥
Jeh Bho Naahee Thehaa Aasan Baadhhiou Singee Anehath Baanee ||
जह भउ नाही तहा आसनु बाधिओ सिंगी अनहत बानी ॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਡਰ ਸਹਿਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ। ਮੈਂ ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ, ਸੁਣਨ, ਬਿਚਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਠਾਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਧੁੰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਿਆਨ ਲੱਗਾ ਕੇ ਬੈਠੀ ਹਾਂ॥
In that place where there is no fear, I have assumed my yogic posture. The unstruck melody of the God Bani is my horn.
8990 ਤਤੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ ਡੰਡਾ ਕਰਿ ਰਾਖਿਓ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਨੀ ॥੪॥

ततु बीचारु डंडा करि राखिओ जुगति नामु मनि भानी ॥४॥
ਰੱਬੀ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨਾਂ ਹੀ, ਮੈਂ ਜੋਗੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਡੰਡਾ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਹੈ। ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਣਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੈਇਦਾ-ਲਾਭ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ||4||

ऐसा जोगी वडभागी भेटै माइआ के बंधन काटै ॥
ਐਸਾ ਸਾਧ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਲਚਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲਵੇ॥
By great good fortune, such a Yogi is met, who cuts away the bonds of maya.

ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਐਸਾ ਅੰਨਦ-ਸੁਆਦ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ। ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੋਸਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰੀਏ॥

8995 ਹਰਿ ਅਉਖਧੁ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਆ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਚੀਤਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

हरि अउखधु जा कउ गुरि दीआ ता के निरमल चीता ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਦਾਰੂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ-ਰਾਜ਼ੀ-ਤੱਕੜੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ॥1॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Those, unto whom the Sathigur has given the God's medicine - their minds become pure and immaculate. ||1||Pause||
8996 ਅੰਧਕਾਰੁ ਮਿਟਿਓ ਤਿਹ ਤਨ ਤੇ ਗੁਰਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਦੀਪਕੁ ਪਰਗਾਸਾ ॥

अंधकारु मिटिओ तिह तन ते गुरि सबदि दीपकु परगासा ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ, ਮਨ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਡਰ ਤੇ ਲਾਲਚ ਦਾ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਮੁੱਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Darkness is dispelled from within that body, in which the Divine Light of the Sathigur's Shabad shines.

भ्रम की जाली ता की काटी जा कउ साधसंगति बिस्वासा ॥१॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਤੇ ਭਗਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਕੀਨ ਬੱਣ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਡਰ, ਝੱਗੜੇ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ||1||
The noose of doubt is cut away from those who place their faith in the Sathigur Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ||1||

तारीले भवजलु तारू बिखड़ा बोहिथ साधू संगा ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਐਸੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਜ਼ਹਾਜ਼ ਹਨ। ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਂਪਾਂ, ਲਾਲਚਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ॥

नाम खजाना भगती पाइआ मन तन त्रिपति अघाए ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ, ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੱਥ ਲੱਗ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਰੀਰ ਜਿੰਦ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਕੂਨ-ਸ਼ਾਤੀ ਮਿਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ॥
The devotees have found the treasure of the Sathigur Naam; their minds and bodies are satisfied and satiated.

करन करावन सभ किछु तुम ही तुम समरथ नाही अन होरी ॥
ਤੂੰਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ। ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁੱਝ ਕਰਦਾਂ ਹੈ। ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਦੂਜਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ॥
You are the Doer, the Cause of causes. You are everything. You are All-powerful; there is no other than You.
9006 ਤੁਮਰੀ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਜਾਨੀ ਸੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਜਿਨ ਭਾਗ ਮਥੋਰੀ ॥੧॥

तुमरी गति मिति तुम ही जानी से सेवक जिन भाग मथोरी ॥१॥
ਤੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ, ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਮ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਤੂਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਣਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਦਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਰਮ, ਉਗੜਦਾ-ਬੌੜਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਕੇ, ਤੇਰੀ ਚਾਕਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ||1||
You God alone know your condition and extent. They alone become your servants, upon whose foreheads such good destiny is recorded. ||1||
9007 ਅਪੁਨੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਸੰਗਿ ਤੁਮ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਰਾਤੇ ਓਤਿ ਪੋਤਿ ਭਗਤਨ ਸੰਗਿ ਜੋਰੀ ॥

अपुने सेवक संगि तुम प्रभ राते ओति पोति भगतन संगि जोरी ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਜੋ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਤੂੰ ਐਨਾਂ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾਂ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਦੇ ਤਾਣੇ ਪੇਟੇ ਦੀ ਬੱਣਤਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਰੱਬ ਜੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਬੱਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ॥
You are imbued with your Saevak, God your devotees are woven into your fabric, through and through.

ਜਿਵੇ ਚਕੋਰ ਚੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ ਲਈ, ਚੰਦ ਵੱਲ ਝਾਕੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣਾਂ ਲੋਚਦਾਂ ਹਾਂ||2||
Darling God beloved, they yearn for your name and the blessed vision of your darshan, like the chakvee bird which longs to see the moon. ||2||
9009 ਰਾਮ ਸੰਤ ਮਹਿ ਭੇਦੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਏਕੁ ਜਨੁ ਕਈ ਮਹਿ ਲਾਖ ਕਰੋਰੀ ॥
Raam Santh Mehi Bhaedh Kishh Naahee Eaek Jan Kee Mehi Laakh Karoree ||
राम संत महि भेदु किछु नाही एकु जनु कई महि लाख करोरी ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ, ਪ੍ਰਭ, ਭਗਤ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਲੱਖਾ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ, ਕੋਈ ਇਕ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਪਿਆਰਾ ਭਗਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ॥
Between the God Sathigur, Saint, there is no difference at all. Among hundreds of thousands and millions, there is scarcely one humble being.
9010 ਜਾ ਕੈ ਹੀਐ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਹੋਆ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਰਸਨ ਰਮੋਰੀ ॥੩॥

जा कै हीऐ प्रगटु प्रभु होआ अनदिनु कीरतनु रसन रमोरी ॥३॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਦਿਸਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਹਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ, ਰੱਬ-ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਜਾਪ ਜੀਭ ਨਾਲ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ||3||
Those whose hearts are illuminated by God, sing the kirtan of his Praises night and day with their tongues. ||3||
9011 ਤੁਮ ਸਮਰਥ ਅਪਾਰ ਅਤਿ ਊਚੇ ਸੁਖਦਾਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਅਧੋਰੀ ॥
Thum Samarathh Apaar Ath Oochae Sukhadhaathae Prabh Praan Adhhoree ||
तुम समरथ अपार अति ऊचे सुखदाते प्रभ प्रान अधोरी ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਾਤੇ ਹੋ। ਬਹੁਤ ਊਚੇ ਹੋ। ਬੇਅੰਤ ਅੰਨਦ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ। ਮੇਰੇ ਜਿਉਣ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਹੋ॥
You are all-powerful and infinite, the most lofty and exalted, the giver of peace, God, you are the support of the breath of life.
9012 ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀਜੈ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਉਨ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੰਗੋਰੀ ॥੪॥੧੩॥੧੩੪॥
Naanak Ko Prabh Keejai Kirapaa Oun Santhan Kai Sang Sangoree ||4||13||134||
नानक कउ प्रभ कीजै किरपा उन संतन कै संगि संगोरी ॥४॥१३॥१३४॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਦਿਆ ਕਰਕੇ, ਆਪਦੇ ਐਸੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜ-ਮੇਲ ਕਰੀ ਰੱਖ, ਜੋ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ||4||13||134||
