बावन अखर जोरे आनि ॥

ਬਵੰਜਾ ਅੱਖਰ ਵਰਤ ਕੇ, ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਲਿਖ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥



The fifty-two letters have been joined together.

15704 ਸਕਿਆ ਨ ਅਖਰੁ ਏਕੁ ਪਛਾਨਿ ॥



Sakiaa N Akhar Eaek Pashhaan ||

सकिआ न अखरु एकु पछानि ॥

ਬੰਦਾ ਉਸ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਛਾਣ ਸਕਿਆ ਹੈ ॥



But people cannot recognize the One Word of God.

15705 ਸਤ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਕਬੀਰਾ ਕਹੈ ॥



Sath Kaa Sabadh Kabeeraa Kehai ||

सत का सबदु कबीरा कहै ॥

ਭਗਤ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ ਆਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਅੱਖਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥

पंडित होइ सु अनभै रहै ॥

ਉਹੀ ਹੈ ਪੰਡਿਤ, ਤੇ, ਉਹ ਗਿਆਨ-ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



One who is a Pandit, a religious scholar, must remain fearless.

15707 ਪੰਡਿਤ ਲੋਗਹ ਕਉ ਬਿਉਹਾਰ ॥



Panddith Logeh Ko Biouhaar ||

पंडित लोगह कउ बिउहार ॥

ਪੰਡਿਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਕਿੱਤਾ ਲੱਭਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਅੱਖਰ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥



It is the business of the scholarly person to join letters.

15708 ਗਿਆਨਵੰਤ ਕਉ ਤਤੁ ਬੀਚਾਰ ॥

गिआनवंत कउ ततु बीचार ॥

ਉਹ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਅੱਖਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਸਮਝੇਗਾ ॥



The spiritual person contemplates the essence of reality.

15709 ਜਾ ਕੈ ਜੀਅ ਜੈਸੀ ਬੁਧਿ ਹੋਈ ॥

ਜਿਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਜਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਅਕਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ॥

जा कै जीअ जैसी बुधि होई ॥



According to the wisdom within the mind,

15710 ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਜਾਨੈਗਾ ਸੋਈ ॥੪੫॥

कहि कबीर जानैगा सोई ॥४५॥

There are fifteen lunar days, and seven days of the week.

ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਸਾਧਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਜੋ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਭੇਤ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥

On the day of the new moon, give up your hopes.

15720 ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਰਾਮੁ ਸਮਾਰਹੁ ॥



Antharajaamee Raam Samaarahu ||

अंतरजामी रामु समारहु ॥

ਮਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾਓ ॥



Remember the Lord, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts.

15721 ਜੀਵਤ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਮੋਖ ਦੁਆਰ ॥



Jeevath Paavahu Mokh Dhuaar ||

जीवत पावहु मोख दुआर ॥

ਜੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰੋਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਇਸੇ ਜਨਮ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਰਮਾਂ-ਵਹਿਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਹਾਂਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਵੋਗੇ ॥



You shall attain the Gate of Liberation while yet alive.

15722 ਅਨਭਉ ਸਬਦੁ ਤਤੁ ਨਿਜੁ ਸਾਰ ॥੧॥

अनभउ सबदु ततु निजु सार ॥१॥

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਅਨੁਭਵੀ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਫੁਰੇਗਾ। ਨਿਰੋਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਅਸਲਾ ਮਘ ਪਏਗਾ ॥



You shall come to know the Shabad, the Word of the Fearless Lord, and the essence of your own inner being. ||1||

15723 ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥

चरन कमल गोबिंद रंगु लागा ॥

ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦੇ ਸੁਹਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥

On the first day of the lunar cycle, contemplate the Beloved Lord.

15726 ਘਟ ਮਹਿ ਖੇਲੈ ਅਘਟ ਅਪਾਰ ॥



Ghatt Mehi Khaelai Aghatt Apaar ||

घट महि खेलै अघट अपार ॥

ਰੱਬ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੈਦ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ, ਹਰੇਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਖੇਡ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥



He is playing within the heart; He has no body - He is Infinite.

15727 ਕਾਲ ਕਲਪਨਾ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਖਾਇ ॥



Kaal Kalapanaa Kadhae N Khaae ||

काल कलपना कदे न खाइ ॥

ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ॥



The pain of death never consumes that person

आदि पुरख महि रहै समाइ ॥२॥

15729 ਦੁਤੀਆ ਦੁਹ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਨੈ ਅੰਗ ॥



Dhutheeaa Dhuh Kar Jaanai Ang ||

दुतीआ दुह करि जानै अंग ॥

ਦੀਜੀ ਥਿੱਤ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਹ ਸਮਝ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਗਤ ਨਿਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਅੰਗ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



On the second day of the lunar cycle, know that there are two beings within the fiber of the body.

15730 ਮਾਇਆ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਰਮੈ ਸਭ ਸੰਗ ॥



Maaeiaa Breham Ramai Sabh Sang ||

माइआ ब्रहम रमै सभ संग ॥

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਇਸ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੇਕ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥



Maya and God are blended with everything.

15731 ਨਾ ਓਹੁ ਬਢੈ ਨ ਘਟਤਾ ਜਾਇ ॥



Naa Ouhu Badtai N Ghattathaa Jaae ||

ना ओहु बढै न घटता जाइ ॥

ਰੱਬ ਕਦੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਛੋਟਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ॥



God does not increase or decrease.

15732 ਅਕੁਲ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਏਕੈ ਭਾਇ ॥੩॥



Akul Niranjan Eaekai Bhaae ||3||

अकुल निरंजन एकै भाइ ॥३॥

ਰੱਬ ਮਾਲਕ ਸਦਾ ਇਕੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਕੁਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ||3||


He is unknowable and immaculate; He does not change. ||3||
15733 ਤ੍ਰਿਤੀਆ ਤੀਨੇ ਸਮ ਕਰਿ ਲਿਆਵੈ ॥



Thritheeaa Theenae Sam Kar Liaavai ||

त्रितीआ तीने सम करि लिआवै ॥

ਤੀਜੀ ਥਿੱਤ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹਿਜ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਬੰਦਾ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਂਸਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਡੋਲਦਾ ॥



On the third day of the lunar cycle, one who maintains his equilibrium amidst the three modes

15734 ਆਨਦ ਮੂਲ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥



Aanadh Mool Param Padh Paavai ||

आनद मूल परम पदु पावै ॥

ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਸ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਅਨੰਦ ਦਾ ਸੋਮਾ ਹੈ ॥



Finds the source of ecstasy and the highest status.

15735 ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਉਪਜੈ ਬਿਸ੍ਵਾਸ ॥



Saadhhasangath Oupajai Bisvaas ||

साधसंगति उपजै बिस्वास ॥

ਸਤਸੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, faith wells up.

15736 ਬਾਹਰਿ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸ ॥੪॥



Baahar Bheethar Sadhaa Pragaas ||4||

बाहरि भीतरि सदा प्रगास ॥४॥

ਅੰਦਰ ਬਾਹਰ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਹਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੈ ||4||


Outwardly, and deep within, God's Light is always radiant. ||4||
15737 ਚਉਥਹਿ ਚੰਚਲ ਮਨ ਕਉ ਗਹਹੁ ॥



Chouthhehi Chanchal Man Ko Gehahu ||

चउथहि चंचल मन कउ गहहु ॥

ਚੌਥੀ ਥਿੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਰਮ-ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ)ਇਸ ਚੰਚਲ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਕੜ ਕੇ ਰੱਖੋ ॥



On the fourth day of the lunar cycle, restrain your fickle mind,

15738 ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਬਹੁ ਨ ਬਹਹੁ ॥



Kaam Krodhh Sang Kabahu N Behahu ||

काम क्रोध संगि कबहु न बहहु ॥

ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਨਾਹ ਬੈਠੋ ॥



And do not ever associate with sexual desire or anger.

15739 ਜਲ ਥਲ ਮਾਹੇ ਆਪਹਿ ਆਪ ॥



Jal Thhal Maahae Aapehi Aap ||

जल थल माहे आपहि आप ॥

ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜਲ ਵਿਚ, ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ ॥



On land and sea, He Himself is in Himself.

15740 ਆਪੈ ਜਪਹੁ ਆਪਨਾ ਜਾਪ ॥੫॥

आपै जपहु आपना जाप ॥५॥

ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜੋਤ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਜਾਪ ਜਪੋ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੰਮ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ||5||

पांचै पंच तत बिसथार ॥

ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਥਿੱਤ ਨੂੰ, ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਾਂਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਜਗਤ ਪੰਜਾਂ ਤੱਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਕ ਖੇਲ ਜਿਹਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੈ ॥



On the fifth day of the lunar cycle, the five elements expand outward.

15742 ਕਨਿਕ ਕਾਮਿਨੀ ਜੁਗ ਬਿਉਹਾਰ ॥



Kanik Kaaminee Jug Biouhaar ||

कनिक कामिनी जुग बिउहार ॥

ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਵਿਸਾਰ ਕੇ ਬੰਦਾ ਧਨ ਤੇ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੁਝੇਵੇਂ ਵਿਚ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥

ਇਥੇ Men are occupied in the pursuit of gold and women.

15743 ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸੁਧਾ ਰਸੁ ਪੀਵੈ ਕੋਇ ॥



Praem Sudhhaa Ras Peevai Koe ||

प्रेम सुधा रसु पीवै कोइ ॥

ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਸ ਪੀਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥

How rare are those who drink in the pure essence of the Lord's Love.

15744 ਜਰਾ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਖੁ ਫੇਰਿ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥੬॥



Jaraa Maran Dhukh Faer N Hoe ||6||

जरा मरण दुखु फेरि न होइ ॥६॥

ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਢੇਪੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਸਹਿਮ ਮੁੜ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ ||6||


They shall never again suffer the pains of old age and death. ||6||
15745 ਛਠਿ ਖਟੁ ਚਕ੍ਰ ਛਹੂੰ ਦਿਸ ਧਾਇ ॥



Shhath Khatt Chakr Shhehoon Dhis Dhhaae ||

छठि खटु चक्र छहूं दिस धाइ ॥

ਛੇਵੀਂ ਥਿੱਤ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੰਜੇ ਗਿਆਨ-ਇੰਦਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਛੇਵਾਂ ਮਨ ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਸਾਥ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਲਾਲਸਾ ਵਿਚ ਭਟਕਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



On the sixth day of the lunar cycle, the six chakras run in six directions.

15746 ਬਿਨੁ ਪਰਚੈ ਨਹੀ ਥਿਰਾ ਰਹਾਇ ॥



Bin Parachai Nehee Thhiraa Rehaae ||

बिनु परचै नही थिरा रहाइ ॥

ਜਦ ਤਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੁੜਦਾ, ਤਦ ਤਕ ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਸਾਥ ਇਸ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਹਟ ਕੇ ਟਿਕਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ॥



Without enlightenment, the body does not remain steady.

15747 ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਮੇਟਿ ਖਿਮਾ ਗਹਿ ਰਹਹੁ ॥



Dhubidhhaa Maett Khimaa Gehi Rehahu ||

दुबिधा मेटि खिमा गहि रहहु ॥

ਭਟਕਣਾ ਮਿਟਾ ਕੇ ਜਿਰਾਂਦ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰੋ ਤੇ ਛੱਡੋ ॥



So erase your duality and hold tight to forgiveness,

15748 ਕਰਮ ਧਰਮ ਕੀ ਸੂਲ ਨ ਸਹਹੁ ॥੭॥



Karam Dhharam Kee Sool N Sehahu ||7||

करम धरम की सूल न सहहु ॥७॥

ਇਹ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਲੰਮਾ ਟੰਟਾ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਭੀ ਹੱਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਣਾ ਹੈ ||7||


And you will not have to endure the torture of karma or religious rituals. ||7||
15749 ਸਾਤੈਂ ਸਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਬਾਚਾ ਜਾਣਿ ॥



Saathain Sath Kar Baachaa Jaan ||

सातैं सति करि बाचा जाणि ॥

ਸਤਵੀਂ ਥਿੱਤ-ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਧਾਰੋ ॥



On the seventh day of the lunar cycle, know the Word as True,

15750 ਆਤਮ ਰਾਮੁ ਲੇਹੁ ਪਰਵਾਣਿ ॥



Aatham Raam Laehu Paravaan ||

आतम रामु लेहु परवाणि ॥

ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਯਾਦ ਕਰੋ ॥



And you shall be accepted by the Lord, the Supreme Soul.

15751 ਛੂਟੈ ਸੰਸਾ ਮਿਟਿ ਜਾਹਿ ਦੁਖ ॥



Shhoottai Sansaa Mitt Jaahi Dhukh ||

छूटै संसा मिटि जाहि दुख ॥

ਫਿਕਰ, ਦੁਖ-ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਣਗੇ ॥



Your doubts shall be eradicated, and your pains eliminated,

15752 ਸੁੰਨ ਸਰੋਵਰਿ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਸੁਖ ॥੮॥



Sunn Sarovar Paavahu Sukh ||8||

सुंन सरोवरि पावहु सुख ॥८॥



And in the ocean of the celestial void, you shall find peace. ||8||

ਉਸ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਵਿਚ ਚੁੱਭੀ ਲਾ ਸਕੋਗੇ, ਜਿਥੇ ਸਹਿਮ ਆਦਿਕ ਦੇ ਕੋਈ ਫੁਰਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਠਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ ||8||15753 ਅਸਟਮੀ ਅਸਟ ਧਾਤੁ ਕੀ ਕਾਇਆ ॥



Asattamee Asatt Dhhaath Kee Kaaeiaa ||

असटमी असट धातु की काइआ ॥

ਅੱਠਵੀਂ ਥਿੱਤ ਇਹ ਸਰੀਰ ਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਅੱਠ ਧਾਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥



On the eighth day of the lunar cycle, the body is made of the eight ingredients.

15754 ਤਾ ਮਹਿ ਅਕੁਲ ਮਹਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਰਾਇਆ ॥



Thaa Mehi Akul Mehaa Nidhh Raaeiaa ||

ता महि अकुल महा निधि राइआ ॥

ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਕੁਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਸਭ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹੈ ॥



Within it is the Unknowable Lord, the King of the supreme treasure.

15755 ਗਉੜੀ ਗੁਰ ਗਮ ਗਿਆਨ ਬਤਾਵੈ ਭੇਦ ॥



Gur Gam Giaan Bathaavai Bhaedh ||

गुर गम गिआन बतावै भेद ॥

ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਇਹ ਭੇਦ ਸਰੀਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ॥



The Guru, who knows this spiritual wisdom, reveals the secret of this mystery.

15756 ਉਲਟਾ ਰਹੈ ਅਭੰਗ ਅਛੇਦ ॥੯॥



Oulattaa Rehai Abhang Ashhaedh ||9||

उलटा रहै अभंग अछेद ॥९॥

ਉਹ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਮੋਹ ਵਲੋਂ ਪਰਤ ਕੇ, ਅਬਿਨਾਸ਼ੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ||9||


Turning away from the world, He abides in the Unbreakable and Impenetrable Lord. ||9||
15757 ਨਉਮੀ ਨਵੈ ਦੁਆਰ ਕਉ ਸਾਧਿ ॥



Noumee Navai Dhuaar Ko Saadhh ||

नउमी नवै दुआर कउ साधि ॥


ਨੌਵੀਂ ਥਿੱਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਇੰਦ੍ਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਬੂ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖੋ, ਇਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਠਦੇ ਫੁਰਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕੋ, ਲੋਭ ਮੋਹ ਆਦਿਕ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਭੁਲਾ ਦਿਉ ।
On the ninth day of the lunar cycle, discipline the nine gates of the body.

15758 ਬਹਤੀ ਮਨਸਾ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਬਾਂਧਿ ॥



Behathee Manasaa Raakhahu Baandhh ||

बहती मनसा राखहु बांधि ॥

ਐਸਾ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਵੋਗੇ ਜੋ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹੇਗਾ ॥



Keep your pulsating desires restrained.

15759 ਲੋਭ ਮੋਹ ਸਭ ਬੀਸਰਿ ਜਾਹੁ ॥



Lobh Moh Sabh Beesar Jaahu ||

लोभ मोह सभ बीसरि जाहु ॥

ਲਾਲਚ ਪਿਆਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਭੁਲਾ ਦਿਉ ॥



Forget all your greed and emotional attachment;

15760 ਜੁਗੁ ਜੁਗੁ ਜੀਵਹੁ ਅਮਰ ਫਲ ਖਾਹੁ ॥੧੦॥



Jug Jug Jeevahu Amar Fal Khaahu ||10||

जुगु जुगु जीवहु अमर फल खाहु ॥१०॥

ਇਸ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਦਾ ਐਸਾ ਫਲ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੱਕੇਗਾ ||10||


You shall live throughout the ages, eating the fruit of immortality. ||10||
