आखहि ईसर आखहि सिध ॥
ਸਿਧ ਤੇ ਈਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੋਚ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Shiva speaks, the Siddhas speak.
256 ਆਖਹਿ ਕੇਤੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਬੁਧ ॥
ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਬੁੱਧ ਰੱਬ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

आखहि केते कीते बुध ॥
The many created Buddhas speak.
257 ਆਖਹਿ ਦਾਨਵ ਆਖਹਿ ਦੇਵ ॥
Aakhehi Dhaanav Aakhehi Dhaev ||
आखहि दानव आखहि देव ॥
ਰਾਖ਼ਸ਼ ਤੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਵੀ ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
The demons speak, the demi-gods speak.
258 ਆਖਹਿ ਸੁਰਿ ਨਰ ਮੁਨਿ ਜਨ ਸੇਵ ॥
Aakhehi Sur Nar Mun Jan Saev ||
आखहि सुरि नर मुनि जन सेव ॥
ਮਨੁੱਖ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੁਨੀ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਲੱਭਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਦੀਆ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
The spiritual warriors, the heavenly beings, the silent sages, the humble and serviceful speak.
259 ਕੇਤੇ ਆਖਹਿ ਆਖਣਿ ਪਾਹਿ ॥
Kaethae Aakhehi Aakhan Paahi ||
केते आखहि आखणि पाहि ॥
ਬਹੁਤ ਜੀਵ ਰੱਬ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਬਹੁਤ ਜੀਵ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Many speak and try to describe Him.
260 ਕੇਤੇ ਕਹਿ ਕਹਿ ਉਠਿ ਉਠਿ ਜਾਹਿ ॥
Kaethae Kehi Kehi Outh Outh Jaahi ||
केते कहि कहि उठि उठि जाहि ॥
ਕਈ ਰੱਬ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ-ਕਰ ਕੇ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ-ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Many have spoken of Him over and over again, and have then arisen and departed.
ਏਤੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਰਿ ਕਰੇਹਿ ॥
Eaethae Keethae Hor Karaehi ||
एते कीते होरि करेहि ॥
ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮੰਡ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਜੀਵ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ।
If He were to create as many again as there already are,
262 ਤਾ ਆਖਿ ਨ ਸਕਹਿ ਕੇਈ ਕੇਇ ॥
Thaa Aakh N Sakehi Kaeee Kaee ||
ता आखि न सकहि केई केइ ॥
ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਜੀਵ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਟਿਕਾਣਾਂ, ਬਲ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਅੰਨਦਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
Even then, they could not describe Him.
263 ਜੇਵਡੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤੇਵਡੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
Jaevadd Bhaavai Thaevadd Hoe ||
जेवडु भावै तेवडु होइ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾਂ ਰੱਬ ਜਿੱਡਾਂ ਵੀ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੇ, ਉਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
He is as Great as He wishes to be.
264 ਨਾਨਕ ਜਾਣੈ ਸਾਚਾ ਸੋਇ ॥
Naanak Jaanai Saachaa Soe ||
नानक जाणै साचा सोइ ॥
ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਲਿਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਰੱਬ ਜੀ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਰਹਿੱਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ।

265 ਜੇ ਕੋ ਆਖੈ ਬੋਲੁਵਿਗਾੜੁ ॥
Jae Ko Aakhai Boluvigaarr ||
जे को आखै बोलुविगाड़ु ॥
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਜੀਵ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੱਤ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਬੱਣਤਰ ਅਕਾਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸੇ
If anyone presumes to describe God,
266 ਤਾ ਲਿਖੀਐ ਸਿਰਿ ਗਾਵਾਰਾ ਗਾਵਾਰੁ ॥੨੬॥
Thaa Likheeai Sir Gaavaaraa Gaavaar ||26||
ता लिखीऐ सिरि गावारा गावारु ॥२६॥
ਤਾ ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਹ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਬੇ ਸਮਝ, ਬਗੈਰ ਅੱਕਲ ਤੋਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ||26||

आखहि सुरि नर मुनि जन सेव ॥
ਮਨੁੱਖ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੁਨੀ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਲੱਭਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਦੀਆ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
The spiritual warriors, the heavenly beings, the silent sages, the humble and serviceful speak.
259 ਕੇਤੇ ਆਖਹਿ ਆਖਣਿ ਪਾਹਿ ॥
Kaethae Aakhehi Aakhan Paahi ||
केते आखहि आखणि पाहि ॥
ਬਹੁਤ ਜੀਵ ਰੱਬ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਬਹੁਤ ਜੀਵ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Many speak and try to describe Him.
260 ਕੇਤੇ ਕਹਿ ਕਹਿ ਉਠਿ ਉਠਿ ਜਾਹਿ ॥
Kaethae Kehi Kehi Outh Outh Jaahi ||
केते कहि कहि उठि उठि जाहि ॥
ਕਈ ਰੱਬ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ-ਕਰ ਕੇ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ-ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Many have spoken of Him over and over again, and have then arisen and departed.
ਏਤੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਰਿ ਕਰੇਹਿ ॥

एते कीते होरि करेहि ॥
ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮੰਡ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਜੀਵ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ।
If He were to create as many again as there already are,
262 ਤਾ ਆਖਿ ਨ ਸਕਹਿ ਕੇਈ ਕੇਇ ॥

ता आखि न सकहि केई केइ ॥
ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਜੀਵ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਟਿਕਾਣਾਂ, ਬਲ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਅੰਨਦਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
Even then, they could not describe Him.
263 ਜੇਵਡੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤੇਵਡੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
Jaevadd Bhaavai Thaevadd Hoe ||
जेवडु भावै तेवडु होइ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾਂ ਰੱਬ ਜਿੱਡਾਂ ਵੀ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੇ, ਉਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
He is as Great as He wishes to be.
264 ਨਾਨਕ ਜਾਣੈ ਸਾਚਾ ਸੋਇ ॥
Naanak Jaanai Saachaa Soe ||
नानक जाणै साचा सोइ ॥
ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਲਿਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਰੱਬ ਜੀ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਰਹਿੱਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ।

265 ਜੇ ਕੋ ਆਖੈ ਬੋਲੁਵਿਗਾੜੁ ॥
Jae Ko Aakhai Boluvigaarr ||
जे को आखै बोलुविगाड़ु ॥
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਜੀਵ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੱਤ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਬੱਣਤਰ ਅਕਾਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸੇ
If anyone presumes to describe God,
266 ਤਾ ਲਿਖੀਐ ਸਿਰਿ ਗਾਵਾਰਾ ਗਾਵਾਰੁ ॥੨੬॥
Thaa Likheeai Sir Gaavaaraa Gaavaar ||26||
ता लिखीऐ सिरि गावारा गावारु ॥२६॥
ਤਾ ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਹ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਬੇ ਸਮਝ, ਬਗੈਰ ਅੱਕਲ ਤੋਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ||26||
He shall be known as the greatest fool of fools! ||26||

ਸੋ ਦਰੁ ਕੇਹਾ ਸੋ ਘਰੁ ਕੇਹਾ ਜਿਤੁ ਬਹਿ ਸਰਬ ਸਮਾਲੇ ॥
So Dhar Kaehaa So Ghar Kaehaa Jith Behi Sarab Samaalae ||
सो दरु केहा सो घरु केहा जितु बहि सरब समाले ॥
ਉਹ ਘਰ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਕਮਾਲ ਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਥੇ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਰੱਬ ਜੀ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ, ਉਨਾਂ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁੱਝ ਨੂੰ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਦੇਖ-ਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Where is that Gate, and where is that Dwelling, in which You sit and take care of all?
268 ਵਾਜੇ ਨਾਦ ਅਨੇਕ ਅਸੰਖਾ ਕੇਤੇ ਵਾਵਣਹਾਰੇ ॥
Vaajae Naadh Anaek Asankhaa Kaethae Vaavanehaarae ||
वाजे नाद अनेक असंखा केते वावणहारे ॥
ਬੇਅੰਤ ਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਜ਼ ਵਾਜੇ ਰਾਗ ਹਨ। ਸਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਣਗਿੱਣਤ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ।
The Sound-current of the Naad vibrates there, and countless musicians play on all sorts of instruments there.
269 ਕੇਤੇ ਰਾਗ ਪਰੀ ਸਿਉ ਕਹੀਅਨਿ ਕੇਤੇ ਗਾਵਣਹਾਰੇ ॥
Kaethae Raag Paree Sio Keheean Kaethae Gaavanehaarae ||
केते राग परी सिउ कहीअनि केते गावणहारे ॥
ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਗ ਬਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਹੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗਾਉਣਵਾਲੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਜੀਵ ਹਰ ਜੂਨੀ ਦੇ ਹਨ।
So many Ragas, so many musicians singing there.
70 ਗਾਵਹਿ ਤੁਹਨੋ ਪਉਣੁ ਪਾਣੀ ਬੈਸੰਤਰੁ ਗਾਵੈ ਰਾਜਾ ਧਰਮੁ ਦੁਆਰੇ ॥
Gaavehi Thuhano Poun Paanee Baisanthar Gaavai Raajaa Dhharam Dhuaarae ||
गावहि तुहनो पउणु पाणी बैसंतरु गावै राजा धरमु दुआरे ॥
ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ ਰਾਗਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਵਾਂ, ਪਾਣੀ, ਅੱਗ ਸਾਰੇ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਧਰਮ ਰਾਜ ਵੀ ਰੱਬ ਜੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਹੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਕਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The praanic wind, water and fire sing; the Righteous Judge of Dharma sings at Your Door.
271 ਗਾਵਹਿ ਚਿਤੁ ਗੁਪਤੁ ਲਿਖਿ ਜਾਣਹਿ ਲਿਖਿ ਲਿਖਿ ਧਰਮੁ ਵੀਚਾਰੇ ॥
Gaavehi Chith Gupath Likh Jaanehi Likh Likh Dhharam Veechaarae ||
गावहि चितु गुपतु लिखि जाणहि लिखि लिखि धरमु वीचारे ॥
ਚਿਤੁ ਗੁਪਤੁ ਜਿਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਲਿਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੇਖਾ-ਜੋਖਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੋਚ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Chitr and Gupt, the angels of the conscious and the subconscious who record actions, and the Righteous Judge of Dharma who judges this record sing.
272 ਗਾਵਹਿ ਈਸਰੁ ਬਰਮਾ ਦੇਵੀ ਸੋਹਨਿ ਸਦਾ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥
Gaavehi Eesar Baramaa Dhaevee Sohan Sadhaa Savaarae ||
गावहि ईसरु बरमा देवी सोहनि सदा सवारे ॥
ਈਸਰ ਬਰਮਾਂ ਦੇਵੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਹੋਏ, ਤੇਰੀ ਉਪਮਾਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Shiva, Brahma and the Goddess of Beauty, ever adorned, sing.
273 ਗਾਵਹਿ ਇੰਦ ਇਦਾਸਣਿ ਬੈਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆ ਦਰਿ ਨਾਲੇ ॥
Gaavehi Eindh Eidhaasan Baithae Dhaevathiaa Dhar Naalae ||
गावहि इंद इदासणि बैठे देवतिआ दरि नाले ॥
ਇੰਦਰ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Indra, seated upon His Throne, sings with the deities at Your Door.
274 ਗਾਵਹਿ ਸਿਧ ਸਮਾਧੀ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਗਾਵਨਿ ਸਾਧ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ ॥
Gaavehi Sidhh Samaadhhee Andhar Gaavan Saadhh Vichaarae ||
गावहि सिध समाधी अंदरि गावनि साध विचारे ॥
ਸਿਧ ਸਾਧੂ ਸਮਾਧੀਆਂ, ਸਾਧ ਬਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡਆ, ਸਲਾਹ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

275 ਗਾਵਨਿ ਜਤੀ ਸਤੀ ਸੰਤੋਖੀ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਵੀਰ ਕਰਾਰੇ ॥
Gaavan Jathee Sathee Santhokhee Gaavehi Veer Karaarae ||
गावनि जती सती संतोखी गावहि वीर करारे ॥
ਜਤੀ, ਸਤੀ, ਸਬਰ ਵਾਲੇ, ਯੋਧੇ ਵੀਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
The celibates, the fanatics, the peacefully accepting and the fearless warriors sing.
276 ਗਾਵਨਿ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਪੜਨਿ ਰਖੀਸਰ ਜੁਗੁ ਜੁਗੁ ਵੇਦਾ ਨਾਲੇ ॥
Gaavan Panddith Parran Rakheesar Jug Jug Vaedhaa Naalae ||
गावनि पंडित पड़नि रखीसर जुगु जुगु वेदा नाले ॥
ਪੰਡਤ, ਮਾਹਾਰਿਖੀ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸੁਣਾਂ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਯੁਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੇਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਪਮਾਂ ਹੀ ਕਹੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
The Pandits, the religious scholars who recite the Vedas, with the supreme sages of all the ages, sing.

ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ ਰਾਗਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਵਾਂ, ਪਾਣੀ, ਅੱਗ ਸਾਰੇ ਗਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਧਰਮ ਰਾਜ ਵੀ ਰੱਬ ਜੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਹੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਕਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਚਿਤੁ ਗੁਪਤੁ ਜਿਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਲਿਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੇਖਾ-ਜੋਖਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੋਚ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਬਹੁਤ ਤਕੜੇ ਯੋਧੇ, ਸੂਰਮੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਿੰਨੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਜੀਵ ਹਨ। ਸਾਰੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

गावहि खंड मंडल वरभंडा करि करि रखे धारे ॥
ਜਿੰਨੇ ਵੀ ਜੀਵ ਖੰਡਾਂ, ਮੰਡਲ, ਵਰਭੰਡਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੁਲ ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਤੇਰੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

सेई तुधुनो गावहि जो तुधु भावनि रते तेरे भगत रसाले ॥
ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜੋ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੇ ਲਗਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੀਨ ਹਨ।
They alone sing, who are pleasing to Your Will. Your devotees are imbued with the Nectar of Your Essence.
282 ਹੋਰਿ ਕੇਤੇ ਗਾਵਨਿ ਸੇ ਮੈ ਚਿਤਿ ਨ ਆਵਨਿ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਕਿਆ ਵੀਚਾਰੇ ॥
Hor Kaethae Gaavan Sae Mai Chith N Aavan Naanak Kiaa Veechaarae ||
होरि केते गावनि से मै चिति न आवनि नानकु किआ वीचारे ॥
ਹੋਰ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ। ਮੇਰੇ ਖਿਆਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋ ਤਾਂ ਗਿਣੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ। ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਦੱਸ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
So many others sing, they do not come to mind. O Nanak, how can I consider them all?
283 ਸੋਈ ਸੋਈ ਸਦਾ ਸਚੁ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਾਚੀ ਨਾਈ ॥
Soee Soee Sadhaa Sach Saahib Saachaa Saachee Naaee ||
सोई सोई सदा सचु साहिबु साचा साची नाई ॥
ਉਹੀ ਰੱਬ ਉਹੀ ਹਰ ਜਗਾ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਸਦਾ ਰਹਿੱਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸੱਚਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ।
That True Lord is True, Forever True, and True is His Name.
284 ਹੈ ਭੀ ਹੋਸੀ ਜਾਇ ਨ ਜਾਸੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਰਚਾਈ ॥
Hai Bhee Hosee Jaae N Jaasee Rachanaa Jin Rachaaee ||
है भी होसी जाइ न जासी रचना जिनि रचाई ॥
ਉਹ ਹੁਣ ਵੀ ਹੈ। ਸਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਕਿਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
He is, and shall always be. He shall not depart, even when this Universe which He has created departs.
285 ਰੰਗੀ ਰੰਗੀ ਭਾਤੀ ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਜਿਨਿ ਉਪਾਈ ॥

रंगी रंगी भाती करि करि जिनसी माइआ जिनि उपाई ॥
ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਰੰਗ-ਬਰੰਗੀ, ਭਾਤ-ਭਾਤ ਦੇ ਜੀਵ ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟੀ ਬਣਾਂ ਕੇ, ਇਹ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਬਣਾਏ ਹਨ।
He created the world, with its various colors, species of beings, and the variety of Maya.
286 ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਕੀਤਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਿਵ ਤਿਸ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
Kar Kar Vaekhai Keethaa Aapanaa Jiv This Dhee Vaddiaaee ||
करि करि वेखै कीता आपणा जिव तिस दी वडिआई ॥
ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਂ ਕੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ, ਆਪਣਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕੰਮ ਦੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵੱਡਆਈ ਇਹ ਹੈ।
Having created the creation, He watches over it Himself, by His Greatness.
287 ਜੋ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੋਈ ਕਰਸੀ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਨ ਕਰਣਾ ਜਾਈ ॥
Jo This Bhaavai Soee Karasee Hukam N Karanaa Jaaee ||
जो तिसु भावै सोई करसी हुकमु न करणा जाई ॥
ਜੋ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿੱਣਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
He does whatever He pleases. No order can be issued to Him.
288 ਸੋ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੁ ਸਾਹਾ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਰਹਣੁ ਰਜਾਈ ॥੨੭॥
So Paathisaahu Saahaa Paathisaahib Naanak Rehan Rajaaee ||27||
सो पातिसाहु साहा पातिसाहिबु नानक रहणु रजाई ॥२७॥
ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਲਿਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਰੱਬ ਮਾਹਾਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਮਾਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਰਜਾ, ਭਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੱਣਾਂ ਹੈ। ||27||
He is the King, the King of kings, the Supreme Lord and Master of kings. Nanak remains subject to His Will. ||27||

ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਂ ਕੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ, ਆਪਣਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕੰਮ ਦੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵੱਡਆਈ ਇਹ ਹੈ।
Having created the creation, He watches over it Himself, by His Greatness.
287 ਜੋ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੋਈ ਕਰਸੀ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਨ ਕਰਣਾ ਜਾਈ ॥
Jo This Bhaavai Soee Karasee Hukam N Karanaa Jaaee ||
जो तिसु भावै सोई करसी हुकमु न करणा जाई ॥
ਜੋ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕਹਿੱਣਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
He does whatever He pleases. No order can be issued to Him.
288 ਸੋ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੁ ਸਾਹਾ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਰਹਣੁ ਰਜਾਈ ॥੨੭॥
So Paathisaahu Saahaa Paathisaahib Naanak Rehan Rajaaee ||27||
सो पातिसाहु साहा पातिसाहिबु नानक रहणु रजाई ॥२७॥
ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਲਿਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਰੱਬ ਮਾਹਾਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਮਾਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਰਜਾ, ਭਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੱਣਾਂ ਹੈ। ||27||
He is the King, the King of kings, the Supreme Lord and Master of kings. Nanak remains subject to His Will. ||27||

ਮੁੰਦਾ ਸੰਤੋਖੁ ਸਰਮੁ ਪਤੁ ਝੋਲੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਕੀ ਕਰਹਿ ਬਿਭੂਤਿ ॥
Mundhaa Santhokh Saram Path Jholee Dhhiaan Kee Karehi Bibhooth ||
मुंदा संतोखु सरमु पतु झोली धिआन की करहि बिभूति ॥
ਜੋਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਬਰ ਬਣਾਂ ਲਵੇ। ਝੋਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਹਨਤ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ, ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਸੀ ਸੁਆਹ ਮਲ ਕੇ ਚਲ।
Make contentment your ear-rings, humility your begging bowl, and meditation the ashes you apply to your body.
290 ਖਿੰਥਾ ਕਾਲੁ ਕੁਆਰੀ ਕਾਇਆ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਡੰਡਾ ਪਰਤੀਤਿ ॥
Khinthhaa Kaal Kuaaree Kaaeiaa Jugath Ddanddaa Paratheeth ||
खिंथा कालु कुआरी काइआ जुगति डंडा परतीति ॥
ਮੌਤ ਤੇਰੀ ਗੋਦਵੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਕੇ, ਜੋਗੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੱਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਡੰਡੇ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੇ।
Let the remembrance of death be the patched coat you wear, let the purity of virginity be your way in the world, and let faith in the Lord be your walking stick.
291 ਆਈ ਪੰਥੀ ਸਗਲ ਜਮਾਤੀ ਮਨਿ ਜੀਤੈ ਜਗੁ ਜੀਤੁ ॥
Aaee Panthhee Sagal Jamaathee Man Jeethai Jag Jeeth ||
आई पंथी सगल जमाती मनि जीतै जगु जीतु ॥
ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਦੋਸਤ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਹੀ ਆਈ ਜਾਤੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਉਚੀ ਜਾਤ ਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮਨ ਉਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਜੱਗ ਜਿੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

आदेसु तिसै आदेसु ॥
ਉਸ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮ ਹੈ। ਸਿਰ ਝੁਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

293 ਆਦਿ ਅਨੀਲੁ ਅਨਾਦਿ ਅਨਾਹਤਿ ਜੁਗੁ ਜੁਗੁ ਏਕੋ ਵੇਸੁ ॥੨੮॥

आदि अनीलु अनादि अनाहति जुगु जुगु एको वेसु ॥२८॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਪਾਪਾ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਨਾਸ ਰਹਿਤ ਅਮਰ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਯੁਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੁੱਡ ਤੋਂ ਇਕੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ। ||28||
The Primal One, the Pure Light, without beginning, without end. Throughout all the ages, He is One and the Same. ||28||

Bhugath Giaan Dhaeiaa Bhanddaaran Ghatt Ghatt Vaajehi Naadh ||
भुगति गिआनु दइआ भंडारणि घटि घटि वाजहि नाद ॥
ਜੋਗੀ ਜੇ ਰੱਬ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਹੋਵੇ, ਦਿਆ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਹੋਵੇ, ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਜੋਗੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਂਦ ਵਜਾਵੇ।
Let spiritual wisdom be your food, and compassion your attendant. The Sound-current of the Naad vibrates in each and every heart.
295 ਆਪਿ ਨਾਥੁ ਨਾਥੀ ਸਭ ਜਾ ਕੀ ਰਿਧਿ ਸਿਧਿ ਅਵਰਾ ਸਾਦ ॥
Aap Naathh Naathhee Sabh Jaa Kee Ridhh Sidhh Avaraa Saadh ||
आपि नाथु नाथी सभ जा की रिधि सिधि अवरा साद ॥
ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਂਥ ਰੱਬ ਹੋਵੇ। ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇ। ਜੋਗੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਿਧੀਆਂ-ਸਿਧੀਆਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।
He Himself is the Supreme Master of all; wealth and miraculous spiritual powers, and all other external tastes and pleasures, are all like beads on a string.
296 ਸੰਜੋਗੁ ਵਿਜੋਗੁ ਦੁਇ ਕਾਰ ਚਲਾਵਹਿ ਲੇਖੇ ਆਵਹਿ ਭਾਗ ॥
Sanjog Vijog Dhue Kaar Chalaavehi Laekhae Aavehi Bhaag ||
संजोगु विजोगु दुइ कार चलावहि लेखे आवहि भाग ॥
ਜੀਵਾਂ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ। ਵਿਛੜਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਇਹ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਚਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਤੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਭਾਗ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ।
Union with Him, and separation from Him, come by His Will. We come to receive what is written in our destiny.

भुगति गिआनु दइआ भंडारणि घटि घटि वाजहि नाद ॥
ਜੋਗੀ ਜੇ ਰੱਬ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਹੋਵੇ, ਦਿਆ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਹੋਵੇ, ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਵ ਜੋਗੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਂਦ ਵਜਾਵੇ।
