पाताला

पाताल लख आगासा आगास ॥

ਧਰਤੀ ਥੱਲੇ ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਪਤਾਲ ਹਨ। ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਉਪਰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਹਨ।

There are nether worlds beneath nether worlds, and hundreds of thousands of heavenly worlds above.

ਓੜਕ ਓੜਕ ਭਾਲਿ ਥਕੇ ਵੇਦ ਕਹਨਿ ਇਕ ਵਾਤ ॥

ओड़क

ओड़क भालि थके वेद कहनि इक वात ॥

ਅਖੀਰ ਅੰਤ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੱਭਦੇ ਹੰਭ ਗਏ ਹਨ।ਸਾਰੇ ਵੇਦ ਇਹ ਇਕ ਗੱਲ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ।

The Vedas say that you can search and search for them all, until you grow weary.

ਸਹਸ ਅਠਾਰਹ ਕਹਨਿ ਕਤੇਬਾ ਅਸੁਲੂ ਇਕੁ ਧਾਤੁ ॥

Sehas Athaareh Kehan Kathaebaa Asuloo Eik Dhhaath ||

सहस

अठारह कहनि कतेबा असुलू इकु धातु ॥

ਅਠਾਰਾਂ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਈਸਾਈਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੇਤਾਬਾਂ ਦੱਸ ਰਹੀਆ ਹਨ। ਸਬ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਇਕੋਂ ਰੱਬ ਹੀ ਹੈ।

The scriptures say that there are 18,000 worlds, but in reality, there is only One Universe.

ਲੇਖਾ

ਹੋਇ ਤ ਲਿਖੀਐ ਲੇਖੈ ਹੋਇ ਵਿਣਾਸੁ ॥

Laekhaa Hoe Th Likheeai Laekhai Hoe Vinaas ||

लेखा

होइ त लिखीऐ लेखै होइ विणासु ॥

ਲੇਕਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਲਿਖ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਸਮਝ ਹੋਵੇ। ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਲੇਖਾ

ਗਿਣਤੀ ਮਿਣਤੀ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦੀ।

ਨਾਨਕ ਵਡਾ ਆਖੀਐ ਆਪੇ ਜਾਣੈ ਆਪੁ ॥੨੨॥

नानक

वडा आखीऐ आपे जाणै आपु ॥२२॥

ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਲਿਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਮੰਨ ਲਈਏ। ਉਹ ਆਪ ਸਭ ਕੁੱਝ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ।

O Nanak, call Him Great! He Himself knows Himself. ||22||
