289 ਮੁੰਦਾ ਸੰਤੋਖੁ ਸਰਮੁ ਪਤੁ ਝੋਲੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਕੀ ਕਰਹਿ ਬਿਭੂਤਿ ॥

मुंदा

संतोखु सरमु पतु झोली धिआन की करहि बिभूति ॥

ਜੋਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਬਰ ਬਣਾਂ ਲਵੇ। ਝੋਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਹਨਤ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ, ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਸੀ ਸੁਆਹ ਮਲ ਕੇ ਚਲ।

Make contentment your ear-rings, humility your begging bowl, and meditation the ashes you apply to your body.

ਖਿੰਥਾ ਕਾਲੁ ਕੁਆਰੀ ਕਾਇਆ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਡੰਡਾ ਪਰਤੀਤਿ ॥

Khinthhaa Kaal Kuaaree Kaaeiaa Jugath Ddanddaa Paratheeth ||

खिंथा

कालु कुआरी काइआ जुगति डंडा परतीति ॥

ਮੌਤ ਤੇਰੀ ਗੋਦਵੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਕੇ, ਜੋਗੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੱਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਡੰਡੇ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੇ।

Let the remembrance of death be the patched coat you wear, let the purity of virginity be your way in the world, and let faith in the Lord be your walking stick.

ਆਈ ਪੰਥੀ ਸਗਲ ਜਮਾਤੀ ਮਨਿ ਜੀਤੈ ਜਗੁ ਜੀਤੁ ॥

Aaee Panthhee Sagal Jamaathee Man Jeethai Jag Jeeth ||

आई

पंथी सगल जमाती मनि जीतै जगु जीतु ॥

ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਦੋਸਤ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਹੀ ਆਈ ਜਾਤੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਉਚੀ ਜਾਤ ਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮਨ ਉਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਜੱਗ ਜਿੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

See the brotherhood of all mankind as the highest order of Yogis; conquer your own mind, and conquer the world.

तिसै आदेसु ॥

ਉਸ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮ ਹੈ। ਸਿਰ ਝੁਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

I bow to Him, I humbly bow.

ਆਦਿ ਅਨੀਲੁ ਅਨਾਦਿ ਅਨਾਹਤਿ ਜੁਗੁ ਜੁਗੁ ਏਕੋ ਵੇਸੁ ॥੨੮॥

आदि

अनीलु अनादि अनाहति जुगु जुगु एको वेसु ॥२८॥

ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਪਾਪਾ ਤੋਂ

ਰਹਿਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਨਾਸ ਰਹਿਤ ਅਮਰ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਯੁਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੁੱਡ ਤੋਂ ਇਕੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ।

The Primal One, the Pure Light, without beginning, without end. Throughout all the ages, He is One and the Same. ||28||
