299 ਏਕਾ ਮਾਈ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਵਿਆਈ ਤਿਨਿ ਚੇਲੇ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ॥

Eaekaa Maaee Jugath Viaaee Thin Chaelae Paravaan ||

एका

माई जुगति विआई तिनि चेले परवाणु ॥

ਇੱਕਲੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਲੋਭ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਚੇਲੇ ਬਣ ਗਏ।

The One Divine Mother conceived and gave birth to the three deities.

ਇਕੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਇਕੁ ਭੰਡਾਰੀ ਇਕੁ ਲਾਏ ਦੀਬਾਣੁ ॥

Eik Sansaaree Eik Bhanddaaree Eik Laaeae Dheebaan ||

इकु

संसारी इकु भंडारी इकु लाए दीबाणु ॥

ਇੱਕ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਇਕ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੋਜ਼ੀ-ਰੋਟੀ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਇੱਕ ਲੇਖਾ ਜੋਖ਼ਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾਂ ਬਣਾਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

One, the Creator of the World; One, the Sustainer; and One, the Destroyer.

ਜਿਵ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਵੈ ਚਲਾਵੈ ਜਿਵ ਹੋਵੈ ਫੁਰਮਾਣੁ ॥

Jiv This Bhaavai Thivai Chalaavai Jiv Hovai Furamaan ||

जिव

तिसु भावै तिवै चलावै जिव होवै फुरमाणु ॥

ਜਿਵੇਂ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਵੇਂ ਚਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

He makes things happen according to the Pleasure of His Will. Such is His Celestial Order.

ਓਹੁ ਵੇਖੈ ਓਨਾ ਨਦਰਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਏਹੁ ਵਿਡਾਣੁ ॥

Ouhu Vaekhai Ounaa Nadhar N Aavai Bahuthaa Eaehu Viddaan ||

ओहु

वेखै ओना नदरि न आवै बहुता एहु विडाणु ॥

ਰੱਬ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿਸਦਾ। ਇਹ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਵੱਡਾਪਨ ਹੈ। ਚੋਜ਼ ਹੈ।

He watches over all, but none see Him. How wonderful this is!

ਆਦੇਸੁ ਤਿਸੈ ਆਦੇਸੁ ॥

आदेसु

तिसै आदेसु ॥

ਉਸ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮ ਹੈ। ਸਿਰ ਝੁਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

I bow to Him, I humbly bow.

ਆਦਿ ਅਨੀਲੁ ਅਨਾਦਿ ਅਨਾਹਤਿ ਜੁਗੁ ਜੁਗੁ ਏਕੋ ਵੇਸੁ ॥੩੦॥

आदि

अनीलु अनादि अनाहति जुगु जुगु एको वेसु ॥३०॥

ਜਿਸ

ਦਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਪਾਪਾ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਨਾਸ ਰਹਿਤ ਅਮਰ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਯੁਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੁੱਡ ਤੋਂ ਇਕੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ।

The Primal One, the Pure Light, without beginning, without end. Throughout all the ages, He is One and the Same. ||30||

ਆਸਣੁ ਲੋਇ ਲੋਇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ॥

Aasan Loe Loe Bhanddaar ||

आसणु

लोइ लोइ भंडार ॥

ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਹਰ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੈ।

On world after world are His Seats of Authority and His Storehouses.

ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸੁ ਏਕਾ ਵਾਰ ॥

Jo Kishh Paaeiaa S Eaekaa Vaar ||

जो

किछु पाइआ सु एका वार ॥

ਜੋ ਵੀ ਵਸਤੂ ਬਣਾਈ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਇਕੋ ਬਾਰ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।

Whatever was put into them, was put there once and for all.

ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੁ ॥

Kar Kar Vaekhai Sirajanehaar ||

करि

करि वेखै सिरजणहारु ॥

ਉਹ ਰੱਬ ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਦੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

Having created the creation, the Creator Lord watches over it.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸਚੇ ਕੀ ਸਾਚੀ ਕਾਰ ॥

Naanak Sachae Kee Saachee Kaar ||

नानक

सचे की साची कार ॥

ਨਾਨਕ ਲਿਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਰੱਬ ਸੱਚੇ ਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੰਮ ਹੈ।

O Nanak, True is the Creation of the True Lord.

ਦਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਪਾਪਾ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਨਾਸ ਰਹਿਤ ਅਮਰ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਯੁਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੁੱਡ ਤੋਂ ਇਕੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ।

The Primal One, the Pure Light, without beginning, without end. Throughout all the ages, He is One and the Same. ||31||

ਇਕ ਦੂ ਜੀਭੌ ਲਖ ਹੋਹਿ ਲਖ ਹੋਵਹਿ ਲਖ ਵੀਸ ॥

Eik Dhoo Jeebha Lakh Hohi Lakh Hovehi Lakh Vees ||

इक

दू जीभौ लख होहि लख होवहि लख वीस ॥

ਜੇ ਇੱਕ ਜੀਭ ਤੋਂ ਲੱਖ ਜੀਭਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ, ਫਿਰ ਲੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਬੀਹ ਲੱਖ ਜੀਭਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ।

If I had 100,000 tongues, and these were then multiplied twenty times more, with each tongue,

ਲਖੁ ਲਖੁ ਗੇੜਾ ਆਖੀਅਹਿ ਏਕੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਗਦੀਸ ॥

Lakh Lakh Gaerraa Aakheeahi Eaek Naam Jagadhees ||

लखु

लखु गेड़ा आखीअहि एकु नामु जगदीस ॥

ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਾਂਮ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਇੱਕ ਲੱਖ ਵਾਰੀ ਆਖੀਏ।

I would repeat, hundreds of thousands of times, the Name of the One, the Lord of the Universe.

ਏਤੁ ਰਾਹਿ ਪਤਿ ਪਵੜੀਆ ਚੜੀਐ ਹੋਇ ਇਕੀਸ ॥

Eaeth Raahi Path Pavarreeaa Charreeai Hoe Eikees ||

एतु

राहि पति पवड़ीआ चड़ीऐ होइ इकीस ॥

ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ, ਇਸ ਰਾਹ ਉਤੇ ਜੋ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਆਪ ਗੁਆ ਕੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਨਾਂਮ ਜੱਪ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

Along this path to our Husband Lord, we climb the steps of the ladder, and come to merge with Him.

ਸੁਣਿ ਗਲਾ ਆਕਾਸ ਕੀ ਕੀਟਾ ਆਈ ਰੀਸ ॥

Sun Galaa Aakaas Kee Keettaa Aaee Rees ||

सुणि

गला आकास की कीटा आई रीस ॥

ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਰਗੇ ਉਚੇ ਰੱਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ, ਅਣਜਾਣ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੀਸ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਜੀਵ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਕੀੜੇ ਸਨ।

Hearing of the etheric realms, even worms long to come back home.

ਨਾਨਕ ਨਦਰੀ ਪਾਈਐ ਕੂੜੀ ਕੂੜੈ ਠੀਸ ॥੩੨॥

नदरी पाईऐ कूड़ी कूड़ै ठीस ॥३२॥

ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਲਿਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਮੇਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਰੱਬ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮਾੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਲਈ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਝੂਠੀ ਵੱਡਿਆਈ ਹੈ।

O Nanak, by His Grace He is obtained. False are the boastings of the false. ||32||
