Kaaman Har Ras Baedhhee Jeeo Har Kai Sehaj Subhaaeae ||
कामणि हरि रसि बेधी जीउ हरि कै सहजि सुभाए ॥
ਜੋ ਬੰਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਵਿੱਚ, ਮਨ ਜੁੜ ਕੇ ਅੰਨਦਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਸੋਖੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਡੋਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ॥

मनु मोहनि मोहि लीआ जीउ दुबिधा सहजि समाए ॥
ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੰਦਰ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਛੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਟਿੱਕ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ॥
The Enticer of hearts has enticed her, and her sense of duality has been easily dispelled.
10729 ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਏ ਕਾਮਣਿ ਵਰੁ ਪਾਏ ਗੁਰਮਤੀ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਏ ॥

दुबिधा सहजि समाए कामणि वरु पाए गुरमती रंगु लाए ॥
ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਛੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਟਿੱਕ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਤੀ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਅੱਕਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ॥
Her sense of duality has been easily dispelled, and the soul-bride obtains her Husband God, following the Guru's Teachings, she makes merry.
10730 ਇਹੁ ਸਰੀਰੁ ਕੂੜਿ ਕੁਸਤਿ ਭਰਿਆ ਗਲ ਤਾਈ ਪਾਪ ਕਮਾਏ ॥

इहु सरीरु कूड़ि कुसति भरिआ गल ताई पाप कमाए ॥
ਇਹ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਤਨ-ਮਨ ਪਾਪ, ਮਾੜੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ, ਮਾੜੀਆਂ ਸੋਚਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਬੱਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਰੀਰ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੀ ਪਾਪੀ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ। ਬਹੁਤ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ॥
This body is filled to overflowing with falsehood, deception and the commission of sins.
10731 ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਜਿਤੁ ਸਹਜ ਧੁਨਿ ਉਪਜੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਭਗਤੀ ਮੈਲੁ ਨ ਜਾਏ ॥

गुरमुखि भगति जितु सहज धुनि उपजै बिनु भगती मैलु न जाए ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦਾ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮਨ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰੱਬ-ਰੱਬ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਲਾਲਚ, ਪਾਪ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਬਗੈਰ ਪਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਲਾਲਚ, ਪਾਪ ਮੁੱਕਦੇ॥

रैणि सुखि सुती जीउ अंतरि उरि धारे ॥
ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਪਿਆਰੀ, ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਨਦ ਨਾਲ ਸੌਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੀ, ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ॥
She passes her life-night sleeping in peace, enshrining the God in her heart.
10735 ਅੰਤਰਿ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰੇ ਮਿਲੀਐ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਨਿਵਾਰੇ ॥

अंतरि उरि धारे मिलीऐ पिआरे अनदिनु दुखु निवारे ॥
ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਰੱਬ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ, ਦਰਦ ਮੁੱਕਾ ਕੇ, ਹਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਅੰਨਦ ਮਾਂਣਦੀ ਹੈ॥
Enshrining Him deep within her heart night and day, she meets her Beloved, and her pains depart.

Deep within the mansion of her inner being, she enjoys her Husband Lord, reflecting upon the Sathigur's Teachings.
10737 ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਪੀਆ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤੀ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਮਾਰਿ ਨਿਵਾਰੇ ॥
Anmrith Naam Peeaa Dhin Raathee Dhubidhhaa Maar Nivaarae ||
अम्रितु नामु पीआ दिन राती दुबिधा मारि निवारे ॥
ਰੱਬੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਰਸ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਪੀ ਕੇ, ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫੂਕਰੀਆਂ, ਲਾਲਚ, ਮੋਹ ਮਾਰ ਲਈਦਾ ਹੈ॥
She drinks deeply of the Nectar of the Naam, day and night; she conquers and casts off her sense of duality.
10738 ਨਾਨਕ ਸਚਿ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੋਹਾਗਣਿ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਹੇਤਿ ਅਪਾਰੇ ॥੨॥

नानक सचि मिली सोहागणि गुर कै हेति अपारे ॥२॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹੀ ਰੱਬ ਵਾਲੀ ਬੱਣ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਬੱਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ||2||

आवहु दइआ करे जीउ प्रीतम अति पिआरे ॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਤਰਸ ਕਰੋ। ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਦਿਸਣ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੋ॥
Come, and shower Your Mercy upon me, my most Darling, Dear Beloved.
10740 ਕਾਮਣਿ ਬਿਨਉ ਕਰੇ ਜੀਉ ਸਚਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੀਗਾਰੇ ॥
Kaaman Bino Karae Jeeo Sach Sabadh Seegaarae ||
कामणि बिनउ करे जीउ सचि सबदि सीगारे ॥
ਰੱਬ ਅੱਗੇ ਤਰਲਾ ਕਰੀਏ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ, ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਢਾਲ ਦੇਵੇ॥
The soul-bride offers her prayers to You, to adorn her with the True Word of Your Shabad.
10741 ਸਚਿ ਸਬਦਿ ਸੀਗਾਰੇ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਾਰੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥
Sach Sabadh Seegaarae Houmai Maarae Guramukh Kaaraj Savaarae ||
सचि सबदि सीगारे हउमै मारे गुरमुखि कारज सवारे ॥
ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ, ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਢਾਲ ਕੇ, ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਕੇ, ਹੰਕਾਂਰ ਮੁੱਕਾ ਕੇ, ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ॥
Adorned with the True Word of Your Shabad, she conquers her ego, and as Gurmukh, her affairs are resolved.
10742 ਜੁਗਿ ਜੁਗਿ ਏਕੋ ਸਚਾ ਸੋਈ ਬੂਝੈ ਗੁਰ ਬੀਚਾਰੇ ॥

जुगि जुगि एको सचा सोई बूझै गुर बीचारे ॥
ਜੁਗ-ਜੁਗ ਤੋਂ, ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਇਹ ਭੇਤ ਜਾਂਣਦੇ, ਜੋ ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ, ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਚਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ॥
Throughout the ages, the One God is True; through the Guru's Wisdom, He is known.
10743 ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਕਾਮਿ ਵਿਆਪੀ ਮੋਹਿ ਸੰਤਾਪੀ ਕਿਸੁ ਆਗੈ ਜਾਇ ਪੁਕਾਰੇ ॥
Manamukh Kaam Viaapee Mohi Santhaapee Kis Aagai Jaae Pukaarae ||
मनमुखि कामि विआपी मोहि संतापी किसु आगै जाइ पुकारे ॥
ਮਨ ਮਰਜੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਸਰੀਰਕ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਭੋਗੀ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕਿਹਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਜਾ ਲੇ ਪੁਕਰ ਕਰਨ?॥
The self-willed manmukh is engrossed in sexual desire, and tormented by emotional attachment. With whom should she lodge her complaints?

Sathigur Nanak, the self-willed manmukh finds no place of rest, without the most Beloved Guru. ||3||
10745 ਮੁੰਧ ਇਆਣੀ ਭੋਲੀ ਨਿਗੁਣੀਆ ਜੀਉ ਪਿਰੁ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
Mundhh Eiaanee Bholee Niguneeaa Jeeo Pir Agam Apaaraa ||
मुंध इआणी भोली निगुणीआ जीउ पिरु अगम अपारा ॥
ਬੱਚੀ ਮੱਤ ਵਾਲੀਏ, ਭੋਲੀਏ ਬਗੈਰ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤਾਂ ਸੋਚ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ, ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ। ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਥੋਂ ਲੱਭੇਗਾ? ਕੋਈ ਉਸ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਿਆ। ਉਹ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੈ॥
The bride is foolish, ignorant and unworthy. Her Husband God is Unapproachable and Incomparable.
10746 ਆਪੇ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲੀਐ ਜੀਉ ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸਣਹਾਰਾ ॥
Aapae Mael Mileeai Jeeo Aapae Bakhasanehaaraa ||
आपे मेलि मिलीऐ जीउ आपे बखसणहारा ॥
ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਦੀ ਹੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਸਦਾ, ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਬ ਕੁੱਝ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ॥
He Himself unites us in His Union; He Himself forgives us.
10747 ਅਵਗਣ ਬਖਸਣਹਾਰਾ ਕਾਮਣਿ ਕੰਤੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਈ ॥
Avagan Bakhasanehaaraa Kaaman Kanth Piaaraa Ghatt Ghatt Rehiaa Samaaee ||
अवगण बखसणहारा कामणि कंतु पिआरा घटि घटि रहिआ समाई ॥
ਰੱਬ ਜੀ, ਮਾੜੇ ਕੰਮ, ਪਾਪ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਦੇ ਤਨ-ਮਨ, ਜ਼ਰੇ-ਜ਼ਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਪਤੀ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ॥
The soul-bride's Beloved Husband God is the Forgiver of sins; He is contained in each and every heart.
10748 ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਭਾਇ ਭਗਤੀ ਪਾਈਐ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਬੂਝ ਬੁਝਾਈ ॥
Praem Preeth Bhaae Bhagathee Paaeeai Sathigur Boojh Bujhaaee ||
प्रेम प्रीति भाइ भगती पाईऐ सतिगुरि बूझ बुझाई ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਜਿੱਤ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਨੇ. ਇਹ ਉਲਝਣ ਖੋਲੀ ਹੈ॥
The True Sathigur has made me understand this understanding, that the Lord is obtained through love, affection and loving devotion.
10749 ਸਦਾ ਅਨੰਦਿ ਰਹੈ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤੀ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਰਹੈ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈ ॥
Sadhaa Anandh Rehai Dhin Raathee Anadhin Rehai Liv Laaee ||
सदा अनंदि रहै दिन राती अनदिनु रहै लिव लाई ॥
ਹਰ ਸਮੇ, ਸੁਖੀ ਤਾਂ ਰਹਿੱਣ ਲਈ. ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ, ਚੌਵੀ ਘੰਟੇ ਰੱਬ ਨਾਲ ਚਿੱਤ ਜੋੜੀ ਰੱਖੀਏ॥
She remains forever in bliss, day and night; she remains immersed in His Love, night and day.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ, ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ, ਆਪਣੇ ਖ਼ਸਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹਾਂ। ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਹਰ ਸੁਖ, ਧੰਨ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਚੀਜਾਂ, ਰਤਨ ਹਾਂਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਏ ਹਨ ||4||3||

सबदु खेवटु विचि पाए हरि आपि लघाए इन बिधि दुतरु तरीऐ ॥
ਜੋ ਬੰਦਾ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ। । ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਰਸਤਾ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਲਾਹ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਬਚ ਕੇ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਹੈ॥

कामणि बिनउ करे जीउ सचि सबदि सीगारे ॥
ਰੱਬ ਅੱਗੇ ਤਰਲਾ ਕਰੀਏ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ, ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਢਾਲ ਦੇਵੇ॥

सचि सबदि सीगारे हउमै मारे गुरमुखि कारज सवारे ॥
ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ, ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਢਾਲ ਕੇ, ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਕੇ, ਹੰਕਾਂਰ ਮੁੱਕਾ ਕੇ, ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ॥
Adorned with the True Word of Your Shabad, she conquers her ego, and as Gurmukh, her affairs are resolved.
10742 ਜੁਗਿ ਜੁਗਿ ਏਕੋ ਸਚਾ ਸੋਈ ਬੂਝੈ ਗੁਰ ਬੀਚਾਰੇ ॥

जुगि जुगि एको सचा सोई बूझै गुर बीचारे ॥
ਜੁਗ-ਜੁਗ ਤੋਂ, ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਇਹ ਭੇਤ ਜਾਂਣਦੇ, ਜੋ ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ, ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਚਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ॥
Throughout the ages, the One God is True; through the Guru's Wisdom, He is known.
10743 ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਕਾਮਿ ਵਿਆਪੀ ਮੋਹਿ ਸੰਤਾਪੀ ਕਿਸੁ ਆਗੈ ਜਾਇ ਪੁਕਾਰੇ ॥

मनमुखि कामि विआपी मोहि संतापी किसु आगै जाइ पुकारे ॥
ਮਨ ਮਰਜੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਸਰੀਰਕ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਭੋਗੀ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕਿਹਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਜਾ ਲੇ ਪੁਕਰ ਕਰਨ?॥
The self-willed manmukh is engrossed in sexual desire, and tormented by emotional attachment. With whom should she lodge her complaints?

मुंध इआणी भोली निगुणीआ जीउ पिरु अगम अपारा ॥
ਬੱਚੀ ਮੱਤ ਵਾਲੀਏ, ਭੋਲੀਏ ਬਗੈਰ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤਾਂ ਸੋਚ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ, ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ। ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਥੋਂ ਲੱਭੇਗਾ? ਕੋਈ ਉਸ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਿਆ। ਉਹ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਹੈ॥
The bride is foolish, ignorant and unworthy. Her Husband God is Unapproachable and Incomparable.

ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਦੀ ਹੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਸਦਾ, ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਬ ਕੁੱਝ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ॥

सदा अनंदि रहै दिन राती अनदिनु रहै लिव लाई ॥
ਹਰ ਸਮੇ, ਸੁਖੀ ਤਾਂ ਰਹਿੱਣ ਲਈ. ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ, ਚੌਵੀ ਘੰਟੇ ਰੱਬ ਨਾਲ ਚਿੱਤ ਜੋੜੀ ਰੱਖੀਏ॥

ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਂਮ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰੀਏ ਜੋ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਹੈ। ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਰਸਤਾ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਲਾਹ ਬੱਣਾਈਏ, ਇਉ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਬਚ ਕੇ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ॥

सबदु खेवटु विचि पाए हरि आपि लघाए इन बिधि दुतरु तरीऐ ॥
ਜੋ ਬੰਦਾ ਰੱਬ ਨੂੰ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ। । ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਰਸਤਾ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਲਾਹ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਬਚ ਕੇ ਨਿੱਕਲ ਹੈ॥
With the Shabad installed as the boatman, the Lord Himself shall take you across. In this way, the difficult ocean is crossed.
10755 ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਜੀਵਤਿਆ ਇਉ ਮਰੀਐ ॥

गुरमुखि भगति परापति होवै जीवतिआ इउ मरीऐ ॥
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਲਚਾ, ਨਾਲੋਂ ਮੋਹ ਮਾਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ॥

10756 ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਕਾਟੇ ਭਏ ਪਵਿਤੁ ਸਰੀਰਾ ॥
Khin Mehi Raam Naam Kilavikh Kaattae Bheae Pavith Sareeraa ||
खिन महि राम नामि किलविख काटे भए पवितु सरीरा ॥
ਅੱਖ ਝੱਪਕੇ ਨਾਲ, ਰੱਬ-ਰੱਬ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ, ਪਾਪ, ਮਾੜੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤਨ-ਮਨ ਸ਼ੁਧ, ਸੂਚੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ॥

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਰੱਬੀ ਬਾਣੀ, ਲਾਲਚਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਰੀਰ ਲਾਲਚਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਕੇ, ਵੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸੋਨੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ||1||
Sathigur'Nanak, through the Lord's Name, emancipation is obtained, and the slag iron is transformed into gold. ||1||
